Cockroaches. Big no.
Just the layout of the rooms. No privacy.
No working hot water for showers.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the price was affordable. However, affordability should not be an excuse for poor cleanliness. The room was not properly cleaned, especially the comfort room, which was very disappointing. Even the hotel surroundings were not well-maintained. Amenities were also very limited. I hope the management improves the cleanliness and overall facilities for a better guest experience.

Not what I expected, but it did the job

民宿地理位置优越，离马恩岛机场坐公交车几站就到，在Castletown Square，房间温馨舒适，周围景色优美宜人。民宿是三层洋楼没有电梯，早餐8点，如果赶早班飞机回大不列颠岛主要城市，一定要前一天晚上和工作人员沟通好，避免被锁在里面，或者把钥匙留在大堂桌子上留言，从安全出口后离开。需要注意的是，马恩岛非常大，从南边坐巴士到首府道格拉斯，需要二十多分钟车程，还不算按点等车的时间。如果会开车最方便的是租车自驾游。如果想在马恩岛上逛遍，得多待几天，一天很难去很多地方。

The rooms are what you would expect for the price in this location. Clean but possibly in need of an upgrade. Signage in the corridors could be a bit better, I struggled to find my way out in the morning, not sure how I found my room the night before but that's another story. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic, full English cooked to your liking and lots of it. Plenty of options for the none fat people too, cereals fresh milk and lots of fruit. the Hotel is in a great spot, not right in the center of town so it will pick up the sound of the nightlife, but only a 1 minute walk from it should you wish to partake, also only a 1 minute walk from the train and bus stations.

My friend and I went for the carvery it was lovely well worth the money. Would highly reccomend. Staff friendly and courteous. Food marvellous cannot complain well worth a visit. Will be going again. The place is modern and clean, although it does not look it from the outside, don't let that put you off.

The staff were excellent, helpful, nice, hospitable and knowledgeable when asked different questions about the island. We will definitely go back.

Great hotel, friendly staff! We had a lovely week stay here. Good breakfast, we didn’t have food of an evening in the restaurant but we didn’t utilise the snack menu when we had pool days and it was very nice. Great location in Nydri, a good base for exploring the island. Only downside was paying for A/C (never had to do this at a hotel before) & although I understand to some extent when it comes to food and other beverages but not being able to drink your own water by the pool unless you brought it from the hotel bar seemed a little unfair.

Good clean hotel in central position just a couple of hundred metres from the main street yet in quiet surroundings. Good breakfast with plenty of choices of Greek / Continental offerings and a good sized pool with plenty of sunbathing provision. The room was adequately sized with shower, enough wardrobe space for two and a reasonably comfortable bed. The eating options at the pool bar i felt was more suited to evening dining rather than lunchtime snacks with prices for drinks on the high side except for beer which was the same as in resort. A charge of 9 euros per night was made for the air conditioning which i have never encountered before other than in apartments in Greece?

Another visit to the George in Kirton and another fabulous meal, great ambience and the service is amazing, just an around super experience. We have been a few times and tried various dishes from the menu and it’s always been great. Would highly recommend and we will without doubt be back !!
