We hadn't realised we'd booked something in West Bay, we thought we'd booked in Bridport, but the people in West bay were absolutely lovely and so friendly, and we found a great place to eat, so we were absolutely delighted with our little mini break. Thank you to all staff at the George pub, you were all fabulous and smiley and welcoming. We would recommend this place highly.

En koselig plass Vi var heldig og fikk en nydelig utsikt over West Bay. Stille og rolig p? natten, men v?r obs p? at det er mye m?ker her som skriker fra kl 05 om morgenen. M?ltidene var gode, og porsjonene var enorme. Egen parkering i bakg?rden er ett stort pluss for her er det mye folk og biler p? dagtid.

The staff were lovely, showed us to our room. The room was stocked with mineral water and teas and coffees, biscuits. The pub downstairs had some good ales. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet, perhaps as we were staying on a Wednesday night. Located in the centre of Newent close to cafes and other pubs plus a good chip shop.

Charmant petit h?tel assorti dun pub sympathique. Un petit bemol toutefois avec la SdB privative extérieure à ma chambre. Mais vu l'age de l'immeuble, 1649, on ne pas tout exiger !

地理位置好，离火车站大英博物馆步行即可到达，但是预付担保金问题令人头疼。

it’s within a 15 mins walk from british museum and both euston station and russell square. very convenient

We were very happy to stay in this welcoming, clean and comfortable hotel after hiking from Bampton. In addition to our dinners, we especially enjoyed our first Coronation Chicken sandwich that we preordered for our next day’s hike. It was very flavorful and moist. Thank you!!!

Had a really excellent Sunday lunch here - significantly better than pretty much any other pub Sunday lunch I can remember having. Big old portions of everything, excellent beef, vegetables cooked exactly right (or to our taste anyway). The Yorkshire puddings were beautiful, very clearly properly done, and big. Just everything you could ask. Lovely staff. It's in a beautiful village. But it's the food that was really noteworthy - nothing fancy, but done very, very well.

Comfy beds, large room. Lovely bathroom with walk in shower. Just off the high street and all the shops.

We had a lovely one night stay at The George. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed and the breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced! Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for having us!
