Het hotel is schoon en centraal gelegen. Het is een rustig hotel wat een mooie uitvals basis om Lefkada te ontdekken. Het zwembad is verfrissend als je met je door de zon verwarmde lichaam een heerlijke plons wil nemen. De mensen zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De mogelijkheid van de prive parkeerplaats is helemaal top.

Lived in and around Bridgnorth for the last 38 years and can't imagine how many curries I've eaten in that time. Back to the days of the old colonial and Wiggles on either side of the bridge. Been here 6 times so far with a couple of takeaways in between. This place is by far the absolute best in town, for both.lovely service (Especially Sunita ) and unbelievable food. Clacka

Very nice friendly staff. Excellent hotel for a weekend break. Food is fantastic. Staff so accommodating. Close to the town. Right opposite Severn Valley railway station. Owners got plans for the future. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb. Great pint of Timothy Taylor Boltmaker, very attentive and friendly staff. And the food!! Oh Lordy....just superb, the wild boar lasagne was amazing..but the peppered steak pie was extraordinary....quite possibly the best pie I have ever had....book between 4.30 and 5.30 and you get 29% off too! Highly recommended

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend in August as we were attending a wedding nereby. The George is a great location, next to Dereham high street which had a good range of shops (including a pharmacy, which we did need to use unexpectedly so very glad it was there!) and some lovely charity shops. Lots of taxi companies nearby, would recommend Dereham Taxis, great service. The food at the hotel was lovely, great pub food, cheap pints and charming, helpful staff. Breakfast was a highlight, good speedy service, friendly servers and delicious food which was included in our room price. The room was lovely too, not too loud for the weekend considering it was over the pub garden; good range of channels on the TV; fans were provided for the Summer heat; clean and comfy sheets, lots of storage space for clothes, etc. The only disappointment was the bathroom - the water pressure for the shower and toilet flush were very weak, so showering took an age. My friend had to scrape limescale off of the shower to help the water flow, and the window blinds in the bathroom were faulty, so did not provide full privacy. But, it was not enough to ruin the visit by any means! It's a really gorgeous and welcoming pub inn, good transport links in Norwich, too.

Organised to meet Friends, rang 1st to ask if still serving meals during the afternoon. Restaurant/Bar were virtually empty, ordered drinks and was told somebody would be over to take our food order - nobody arrived so I had to disturb the Bar staff who were having a chat to ask if they could organise this. A very pleasant Waitress came advised us what was still available so 3 roasts & 1 Fish & Chips were ordered. OMG never again - it was horrific!!! The Roast Pork was a single steak about 3inches thick with an awful non cooked brown jelly looking rind on it, half the vegetables were either burnt or missing and it was stone cold. The beef was like leather & the chicken was a fillet just butterflied on the plate again all stone cold with items missing, however, the Fish & Chips were perfect. I left the table to find someone to complain too - apparently the Gentleman I spoke to was the Manager - he couldn't of been less interested if he tried, actually picked a piece of broccoli up off the plate to test the temperature and said nobody else has complained, cleared plates, asked if we would like something else and walked away. The exceptionally pleasant Waitress returned took our orders (Fish & Chips) and apologised profusely - she is a real asset to the team. When the food arrived it was very nice, shame one of or party had to eat alone but we couldn't fault it. We definitely wont be returning for a Sunday Roast - I wouldn't of given an animal what we were served
