We thought there swimming leisure facilities. Didn't realise dogs were allowed in rooms heard them in the morning a few rooms up frightened when passed them in the corridor.Breakfast was excellent, but the main fish was on the small size for evening meal. Garden and bridge location was lovely.
Forgotten Town
Staff were nice and the hotel was ok but there’s not a lot going on in Axminster
Also parking can be limited with the outside area of hotel sharing the same space
Sloppy, smelly and disappointing stay.
We chose this location to travel to other destinations before heading to Cornwall, but it was a disappointing stay for various reasons to many to name.
Not a great experience. Pillows had hairs on them, towels were too small, roller blind was frayed, let light in and because of the weight it unraveled on top of you! (Bed was directly under window). Worst part was that there is a flat roof right next to the window were pigeons like to reside and make noise at 4am. Didn’t get any sleep!
