The staff were lovely & helpful and answered all our questions on arrival. The room was very nice with a great bathroom and a fan which was really essential. It was quite noisy from the road traffic passing.

A great hotel
What a fabulous place!! The superb staff, wonderful food, great ales, good parking, beautifully maintained room and excellent location made our stay an amazing experience. From the first moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of..... including an intial taster of the fine local brewers "Palmers" ale.
The room, although compact, was really comfortable, though the bathroom was roomy and towels plentiful. The restaurant food was fabulous, with the Lambs Liver and Steak and Ale pie being very popular. The location, near to the bus stop and the harbour, was ideal for easg access to the beautiful Wsst bay, with stunning views of the Jurassic coastline cliffs.

We were out in a room that overlooked a fire escape, there was a speaker outside our room that was a bit annoying. The room was ok, big and had what we needed but sheets didn’t feel clean and bathroom didn’t feel fully decorated. I know the rooms are cheap but I didn’t feel comfortable unfortunately.
Shower water pressure is terrible on third floor. No elevator, have to drag the luggage to the top floor. Extremely small room , without air condition. Luggage storage are without any reference number, anyone can step in and take away the luggage that was stored.
It was an amazing experience in George Hotel.
Bed is very comfortable and tidy. Breakfast was good. Will definitely come back as it’s very convenient to travel to the station and nearby restaurants and pub.
5 out of 5 Very friendly and amazing food. Highly recommended. Had chicken burger with blue cheese, very tasty. Hubby had burger, was delicious You know when you're glad you picked what you had off the menu, good choices by both of us. Hopefully come here again if in this neck of the woods. Excellent
Good for workers at the price, but don’t a lot
Hotel is adequate for a quick stop over, but water pressure is very poor so showers are not good

Just returned from a wonderful weekend spent as part of a large wedding party at The George hotel. My room was really lovely, gorgeous bathroom with everything you need, including a fan as it was so warm and humid, a really thoughtful touch ?? Breakfast was huge and delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you I'd definitely stay here again Thank you!! Patti ??
