Easy parking, excellent Reception staff. Room clean and comfortable. Christmas decorations in the bar/dining areas were beautiful and tastefully done.
Breakfast was lovely, as were the staff, very professional and well presented.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent, central location in Hayfield close to Kinder Scout hiking trails. Spacious clean bedroom with good amenities. Stayed for bed and Breakfast on a Hiking short break .The breakfast was very good in quality and content. Our hosts gave a warm welcome and shared local knowledge of walking trails and the town. Would return again.
Perfect for business travel. The room had strong Wi-Fi, a comfortable workspace, and everything I needed to stay productive. The front desk team was quick, efficient, and very accommodating with requests. The hotel’s location made transportation easy, and the overall experience was smooth and stress-free.
Called in as fancied a carvery the staff were very friendly and helpful,the carvery was delicious with loads of choice of vegetables sauces and gravy,a really nice place and good value would recommend.
This is our second time at The George’s. We love the spacious, comfortable and well appointed room and the welcoming staff. We also enjoy Taps and the Haywood and appreciate the made to order breakfast.
