Boutique hotel, tastefully appointed, very arty. Service and rooms very good, comfy good linen, responsive staff. My only issue is the listed items on menu often not available. I stayed 5 nights and rarely got what i wanted. Overall the menu, even when available was not well done. Duck as a main was a real disappointment. Please take the items off the menu if you dont have it or cant do it well

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at the G George! The Staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to Caroline, Dunja and Joanna for their helpful tips and guidance about the resort. We could not fault our ground floor room, it was clean, spacious, excellent faciities refreshed every day by the maids. The pool was very clean and plenty of sun beds with or without shade. The bar was well stocked and had plenty of comfortable seating prices were similar to the rest of the resort. The breakfasts were amazing, plenty of choice and something different added every day. Great snacks available at the bar and evening meals were of a very high standard and great value. The location was perfect, nice and peaceful and only a five minute stroll to the resort centre and a ten minute walk to the local bus stop and coach drop off/pickup point. We recomend this hotel if you are staying in Nidri! Thank you all for a wonderful stay! Dave & Jayne. Yammas!

Sunday lunch..ordered roast dinners 2 came correct so started eating,other 2 came twice was wrong third time lucky, food was cold not luke warm! Mash cold,yorkshire pudding meat cold ,! Resturant wasn't busy so no excuse for mix up on food delivery and serving cold food,sent it back as cold and it came back the same still cold! Lamb cold tough and fatty left it all!￡19.95 each not cheap and was disappointing! Waitress didn't seem to have clue what she was doing,ordered deserts they arrived but brought no utensils to eat desert with waited and waited eventually had to call waitress over asked her for utensils to eat desert with ???♀?she laughed said ill get you some! Eaten here many times use to be one of best place to come for a great meal but after today, poor service, terrible meal will not be coming back sorry to say. Disappointing!

Very comfortable bed. I was given an upgrade from a single to a double room. Very friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed here a number of times and I have never been disappointed. Easy parking, which is always helpful.

Staff very friendly and professional. 3 star rating is about right. Juno Pilsner was very nice and the food decent on evening meal.

Staff were excellent — friendly and helpful throughout. Parking was ample and the hotel was easy to find. The room itself was a bit dated, with marks, scratch marks and rust on the bottom of the bathroom door. There were only towels for one person and one had what looked like a red stain, but when I went downstairs the staff quickly and happily provided fresh ones. The TV worked well, though there was no telephone in the room. Lovely view of the bridge and river, and it was very quiet — didn’t hear a thing from the room. The building has a slightly spooky, old-fashioned charm to it; definitely has that “old place” atmosphere. There’s no lift, and it’s quite a walk through lots of long corridors, so it’s easy to get a bit lost. I wouldn’t say it was wonderful as described online, but the location was excellent.

If you ever want a good meal and in particular a steak pie ask if Imogen is the chef! Place the order and enjoy a pie of a lifetime! Absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for making our night Imogen!

Arrived very early but was able to check in. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was lovely and clean. Would recommend and will stay again.
