Always love a stay at The George. The Staff are so welcoming and attentive. The food in the restaurant is excellent and well worth a visit.

What a lovely cost hotel.
Although we were only there for one night, they kindly upgraded our room which was lovely.
We also ate at the hotel and had a beautiful meal.
Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Have just come back from a wonderful Christmas lunch at The George. There were 8 in our party and we were all served very swiftly and attentively by friendly staff. The roast turkey was accompanied by a wide choice of veg and tasty gravy. The Christmas pudding was next level - honestly the best Christmas pudding I’ve had in my life.

A very busy restaurant so obviously popular. Room was spacious and had everything you could wish for. The table and chairs were a really nice addition as was the supply of decaff coffee and tea. Only downside was the car park. Not in the best condition especially for walking across in the dark

Very clean and tidy room, centrally located in this small town, Hotel does not do evening meals but lots of takeaway options and several pubs serving food in the evenings all in easy walking distance.

I could check in early which was very nice.

Everything was great until the day I checked out & saw the clean sheets lying on the corridor floor, guests stepping over them. That really is not acceptable, big hygiene concern.

Clean and recently renovated room with a modern but cosy aesthetic. The staff were efficient and friendly.

I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location.
