Parking was excellent, secure and under cover. Rooms a bit tired but clean and warm. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s cheap, clean, quiet and comfy. Needs a lock of paint and updating but the staff are all super friendly.

Always a great stay at the George, comfortable, food great, atmosphere great. Good value for money. Staff are all excellent.

Rooms fabulous especially the ones with balconies as are all the double rooms. Menu is fantastic, great choice of beer too. Staff are always so helpful and hospitable. Having stayed hereon and off for over 6 years, i highly recommend.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. We had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent and reasonably priced.

Absolutely fabulous accommodations! The hotel has olde world charm with the modern amenities you'd expect. If you're visiting Stonehenge, the location is ideal- we were in the car park not fifteen minutes after leaving the hotel. The onsite manager was Abi and she literally did it all- reception, server, bartender and always with a smile!

Nice place, situated in town, with good parking. People excellent, Scotch Egg amazing... sounds odd, but they have their own receipe. Has to be tried.
No stress, easy going, top service.
Only downside is no lift, so be careful on booking and let them know in advance.

Second visit at this hotel, this time the stay wasn't pleasant, didn’t get much sleep due to the rooms above ours were having a party most of night, not sure which room it was but was a very loud night.

Stayed here again, sure it’s around the 10th time, lovely hotel, rooms clean, fantastic food, great staff who really look after you, nothing is a bother, from reception (apologies a can’t remember the girls name, sorry, we chat with her at each visit, dark hair, pony tail) woman of all trades, very welcoming, young chap who was working reception and serving breakfast, to Ellie in the restaurant, she is a must meet, so pleasant, polite and quite funny, made our dining experience really relaxed. New complimentary coffee/chocolate/tea machine set at the bottom of the stairs, encouraged to help ourselves Will definitely stay here again, even though under new management, please don’t make to many changes Thank you again The Glasgow Lassies
