Nice room, Unmanned reception, Treck to car park past abandoned furnature and beer barrels not good. No bath sheet in bathroom , which made my morning shower a bit interesting.

Arrived at 8pm on Monday 29th May. The hotel bar and restaurant were closed. the whole place was empty. strange for a holiday Monday in summer. Will not stay again

The room we booked was a lovely size - triple room
It was very comfortable -yes the furniture was a little dated but in keeping with the property type
Everything very clean
Plenty of tea and coffee provided
Also the hotel provided towels and toiletries
Will definitely stay again

Perfekte Lage um Wallingford zu besichtigen. Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Sch?nes, sauberes Zimmer mit allem was wir uns wünschen. Toller Biergarten und eigener Parkplatz für unsere Motorr?der. Top Frühstück und das alles mit typisch englischem Charm.

Een prima hotel, nette ruime ( beetje gedateerde ) kamer, heerlijk bed en badkamer, met mooie regendouche. Kamers werden dagelijks schoongemaakt, bedden opgemaakt en schone handdoeken. Ontbijt goed en iedere dag wisselend. We hebben een aantal keren lunch besteld bij 't zwembad en is ook goed ; vers en prima betaalbaar. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en zeker Johanna is een topper !

Je regrette le manque de place de stationnement, mais l’h?telier a été très honnête à ce sujet.
Accès très difficile, passage très étroit dans une rue étroite et passante.

Hotel staff are great. I've stayed at both properties in Colchester several times and everyone is so helpful and kind. Rooms are adorable. Bed is super comfy. Breakfast is good. I love that they are right in the middle of High Street and close to everything. Highly recommend staying here!

Peaceful, tranquil location by the river Tyne. My last stay in the hotel was about 35 years ago and little would appear to have changed still very pleasant but a little faded by todays glittery standards. Good room rates.

All aspects very good except;
Car parking terrible(no spaces) and cost ￡9.50 a day.
Insufficient staff in bar, so takes 30 minutes to get served.
