We live close by but decided to see what The George was like as a hotel. We use the facilities quite a lot anyway. It didn't disappoint either. Love staff & hotel

I'll be back! Just a quick one night stay, but would definitely go back! The staff were all very friendly, food at the pub downstairs was fantastic - both dinner and breakfast, and the place was clean and comfortable.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea. Lovely friendly staff and the nicest scones ever, so light and fluffy. Liked the fact that the cakes were small petit four style. Really delicious and well worth the money having booked through Groupon. Highly recommended.

Couple stay Amazing hotel! Stay there! Lots of restaurants within yards of the hotel. Also a Star Cinema Grill if want catch a movie. Stay there!! Free parking as well .

I cannot recommend this facility because our assigned room was evidently right below the gym. The noise! Including something probably bar bells were being dropped until 11:00 pm and starting again at 7:00 am. Resting was impossible. We did not know the room was below the gym until we checked out.

Central Montrose, a short walk from the main street. Clean, tidy hotel. Great food and appears to be busy all the time. Excellent, attentive staff who are a credit to the hotel. This includes waiting staff, reception and night porter. Temp in the room (top floor) was perfect. Shower was a little lack lustre on the top floor but managed just fine.

My suggestions, if you travel to Gensan city, so choose the Georgie hotel.. The reason is, it is easy to get in touch with happiness, close with the public park/ bus terminal/ 7-11/Mit. Super market/ Jollibee Quick food/ private hospital/ government Hall...... And at a cheaper price, you can afford 24h/ 700php

I asked for hangers 3 times and they never came. Took a long time to get my ironing board and iron, too. But the staff were universally warm and friendly.

2 night stay at The George and we couldn't fault it. Warm welcome, all staff really pleasant, great room, comfy bed, and amazing food. Free parking outside the hotel. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place. We'll definitely be going back.

Great base for exploring Northumberland. Good breakfast and evening meal.
