I stayed this hotel because I used flankfurt Airport and I was scheduled to visit Cologne Cathedral. Because this hotel is located near train station, it is convenient to reach other spots. But there are many homeless near the train station.
Right next to track 1. There is a side entrance at the side of the station, that leads directly to the hotel. Clean and functional rooms. Self check in was fast and efficient.
Location a few meters across the central station is great. Beds are great, pillows for my taste a bit too firm. The room was soundproof. There is a kettle and cups but, unfortunately no tea or coffee is given. I never bring coffee sachets with me. I guess the kettle and cups are just placed for compliance. The shower is good but the bathroom smells like the toilets of the trains. When you flush the toilet there comes a noise from drainage of the shower. The smell might be related to that.
