Room was clean , cleaners didn’t come on the second last day and we had no water the last morning , food was not great but breakfast was good. Staff and people we sooo friendly and the resort grounds and pools amazing.

Very relaxing, so many pools we lost count. Staff was amazing. Taco truck was a great touch we all loved. Not much for night or pool entertainment but perfect for a nice laid back vacation.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Marriott Riviera Nayarit, An All-Inclusive Resort. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The pools were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of seating and attentive poolside service. The beach access and views were breathtaking, making it the perfect place to unwind.

Let me preface by saying the resort itself is beautiful. Visually, it’s the perfect blend of resort and jungle and i appreciated the many pools and lounge chairs available to all guests. Our stay started off incredible, with an exceptional room — though not super clean, there was a few remnants from the previous guests that likely just got overlooked, it was spacious and had everything you’d want. Unfortunately, mid way through our trip our entire tower (there are 6), as well as our neighboring tower lost access to running water. No showers, using the toilet or washing your hands and because the closest pool was directly connected to our waterline, it also did not offer washrooms that were accessible. Though, this is completely unpredictable and can just happen, the water remained an issue for the entire day and led into the next day. We were offered another room in a building that had running water, however due to guests from both buildings needing to relocate on top of new guests checking in, there weren’t many rooms to choose from and unfortunately we severely were downgraded from the deluxe room we paid for with no compensation, offerings, or discounts to anything the resort offered additionally whatsoever. Thankfully, you do spend a majority of your time out by the pool — but when travelling far, and paying more for the room (since it’s an option), you’d expect a bit more when an issue arises as serious as no access to basic necessities. Which changed the experience.

The view from our room was dull. The hotel was only at 40% capacity so a better room could have been offered.

The room and staff and layout of the pool and drinks were amazing . The food was mid to low.

Clean rooms and facility. Very friendly helpful staff. Shuttle to the beach not great as it was booked so we had to go the next day. Could use more kid friendly food. Kids Club was so far away we had to take two shuttles. The leaf blowers are very loud and, although we appreciated that the grounds were amazing, the noise was so loud and sounded like a construction zone. Only one place to eat breakfast on site. The waiters in the afternoon at the upper pool site got our orders wrong every time and the food took at least 45 minutes to an hour to get.

The room when we got there was not ready for us. The AC was turned off. The furniture at the resort was dirty. The resort needs a better system for going to the beach. Food was never hot.

The staff were excellent, cheerful and welcoming always went the extra mile to accommodate our needs!
