Ceco (Receptionist) was very rude on the same day of my arrival. (This was reported already). I can say my mood lifted as soon as I went over to the Hotel Bar. Melin was superb as we had a great interaction. His English speaking was amazing, combined with his helfulness. Hardworking but loved inter-acting with all clients. Wonderful latte, but on my last day, I requested his signature"cocktail ". Thank you so much. The breakfast staff were also superb, for a few days. Breakfast selection was great. Thanks for the supervisor who was proactive as in making sure all food trays were full and drinks section with Anna, the waitress on those days. (Sorry his name was on the photos but disappeared when submitting my great experience in the Breakfast area). Well done. This time, the Hotel's dinner experience was great. My compliments to the Chef for the great dinners I had there. The house-keeping ladies were very helpful, smiling. They were great for cleaning my room. They also immediately arranged for the in-house engineer to repair the faulty radiator. Well done for all their help.
Good bits first , on first glance the hotel is nice , good seating and relaxed atmosphere in the reception with a bar and restaurant , swimming pool , sauna , steam room , spa etc all nice , our room was spacious with two single beds room 301 , the TV needed replacing the picture suggested so , the WiFi was not good hit and miss , house keeping was absolutely horrendous they hardly came to clean the room , we had the same bedding for two weeks , rubbish we used to take it out ourselves and was once told to ta put in a bin outside of the front of the hotel , beds were never made , the room was never vaccumed and was only done once when my wife told a cleaner to do it , toilet roll we used to go to reception to ask for it. To finish the hotel has a lot of potential to be lovely but is badly let down by house keeping.
Staffs are absolutely horrible
When I arrived, I headed to the reception, where two guys were present and giving me some odd looks. I introduced myself and said I wanted to check in. I then asked about the facilities, but their responses were so unprofessional and vague that I was genuinely shocked. It's okay but not great
I wouldn't book this hotel again, floor whatever is carpet or weird Lino it's the same in the room as in the bathroom, corridors smell of cigarettes, WiFi is very bad, I mean shocking bad and when u put card in the holder to get power in the room fuse board always buzzing and reception was not interested to do something about it, breakfast was okay, haven't use the spa or pool u unfortunately so can't comment, on plus side really good water pressure in shower.
The hotel was decent, with friendly and very helpful bar staff. The room was comfortable, although the shower tended to be cold in the evening. I found the lack of a rubbish bin in the room inconvenient, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. The food at the restaurant was great, though breakfast was quite basic. The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, with a 15-minute walk to the Musagenitsa metro station. Overall, hotel was ok for the price I’ve paid.
Very nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. The staff was normal, the location is not the best for walking people, because the closest metro station is about 15 minutes walking and with big bags is not the best. The surrounding area is nice, super view to the Vitosha Mountain, and big, nice room.
