We stayed at this magnificent resort and enjoyed every second. Relaxing, refreshing, kindness, service minded to the fingertips:-) We will be back, no doubt.

Très bel établissement en bord de mer les chambres sont très grandes et la vue sur le parc et l’océan extraordinaire. Le personnel est au petit soin. Ne ratez pas les séances de yoga le matin dans le parc face à l’océan.. Rukman le professeur de yoga animé de main de ma?tre es séances. Je recommande vivement pour bien débuter la journée. Un petit bémol concernant les prix du restaurant trop élevés à mon avis.

We have just returned from another great two weeks staying at The Fortress,Sri Lanka. There have been a few changes since we were there last in 2023. The restaurant area has been refurbished and there are now a Tepanyaki cooking area and an Italian and Japanese restaurant. The main restaurant is still in Samantha’s capable hands and he still has Saman and many of the staff that were there before assisting. The food is as delicious as it was two years ago thanks to the Exec chef and all his staff. Thank you all!! Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was very much appreciated.Nalin and Namal kept the room well stocked and immaculate. The pool guys looked after all our needs around the pool area and the sun beds were very comfortable. The chief engineer was busy setting up some new outdoor lighting to show off the trees and surf. Excellent! It was great chatting with the front desk and reception team again and discussing our“haute couture “ each evening from Chez Preston.. We highly recommend this hotel and staying on an AI basis works for us as we love our food and enjoy a drink. Thanks again to everyone, sorry that I can’t remember everyone’s name but you all made our holiday truly memorable. Hope to see everyone again soon

Ein sehr sch?nes Hotel mit einer sehr sehr guten Lage super serviceorientiertes und freundliches Personal gastronomisch sehr gut aufgestellt. Sch?ne Zimmer nur leider nicht alle auf den gleichen Stand renoviert. Eine Besonderheit gibt es zu beachten. Mehr Zugang und schwimmen gehen im Meer ist nur bei gewisser Witterungslage m?glich, damit muss man rechnen.

Good location to reach Galle. Beach front and pool very impressive with plenty of loungers and towel service. We used Uber to get out on a couple of occasions but the tuk tuk drivers were not happy and were very intimidating to the drivers. When out walking they were quite annoying and would not take no thank you for an answer! Hotel very quiet at the time we visited although they were unable to accommodate a room extension. Extensive menu (priced in US$) for lunch or dinner. Orders sometimes missing or not quite as requested but that could be a language issue. Service often a little slow even with plenty of waiting staff. A mention for Sasuvu who was particularly attentive to our requests. Rooms very spacious with all usual toiletries and regular linen change. Rooms did feel damp due to the humidity. Friends had a dehumidifier in their room which they needed to empty regularly.

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Fortress. We enjoyed everything: the room, pool, beach, gym and delicious food and drinks.The place is so special and beautiful and looks like a postcard! What’s best about the hotel is the staff which was so helpful with every request. Highly recommended!

服务员很好，热情但不过头。环境就在海边，幽静，有泄湖可以游泳，泄湖里有很多小鱼，偶尔有颜色鲜艳的。无边泳池正对南印度洋。

The Fortress Resort and Spa exceeded our expectations and we loved our stay there. The complex was immaculate - we had an Ocean View room on the first floor - which had a good sized deck looking over the garden, pool and ocean. We booked the breakfast which I'd highly recommend, lovely choice of fresh fruit, Sri Lankan and traditional breakfasts. We used the really well equipped gym most days and enjoyed the 50 metre pool and swims on the local beach. The service was exceptional - the staff were all really friendly and professional...they took care of all our needs and made us feel at home...thank you !!!!

Wonderful location. Very clean and luxury rooms and friendliest staff. Food had a good variance and very calm ambience .

Absolutely stunning hotel. I went for an Ayurvedic massage in beautiful surroundings. Lovely masseuse but massage was very average and for nearly $60 not really worth the price.
