Guest：The Fortress is a simply magnificent Resort. This beach front Resort has all the facilities you can ever want for a relaxing and truly enjoyable experience. (pools, spa, gym, great restaurants and Bar, delicious and an array of foods just to name a few.) The staff are amazing, very hospitable and always welcoming and friendly. We travelled from Australia and stayed two nights in the Ocean room which was very spacious and clean with all the facilities you need. We had our Wedding Ceremony at the Fortress and there is simply no words to describe the wonderful experience we had. Every aspect of our wedding ceremony was professionally and meticulously arranged by the staff at the Fortress. From organising the necessary marriage documents to the floral arrangements, wedding bouquets and bower, decorations, cake, celebrant, music, photography, special celebratory dinner, and the list goes on., we couldn’t have been happier with all of these things and the very best service we received at the Fortress. A special mention to our wedding coordinator ‘GAYANI’ who went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding ceremony was successful and memorable. Her attention to detail and dedication to make sure we were happy with all the arrangements is something we will always remember and be grateful for. From the time we arrived until we checked out the service was exceptional. All the staff never fail to smile and greet us. The food was delicious & the atmosphere was refreshing.

Guest：Très bel établissement en bord de mer les chambres sont très grandes et la vue sur le parc et l’océan extraordinaire. Le personnel est au petit soin. Ne ratez pas les séances de yoga le matin dans le parc face à l’océan.. Rukman le professeur de yoga animé de main de ma?tre es séances. Je recommande vivement pour bien débuter la journée. Un petit bémol concernant les prix du restaurant trop élevés à mon avis.

Guest：We have just returned from another great two weeks staying at The Fortress,Sri Lanka. There have been a few changes since we were there last in 2023. The restaurant area has been refurbished and there are now a Tepanyaki cooking area and an Italian and Japanese restaurant. The main restaurant is still in Samantha’s capable hands and he still has Saman and many of the staff that were there before assisting. The food is as delicious as it was two years ago thanks to the Exec chef and all his staff. Thank you all!! Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was very much appreciated.Nalin and Namal kept the room well stocked and immaculate. The pool guys looked after all our needs around the pool area and the sun beds were very comfortable. The chief engineer was busy setting up some new outdoor lighting to show off the trees and surf. Excellent! It was great chatting with the front desk and reception team again and discussing our“haute couture “ each evening from Chez Preston.. We highly recommend this hotel and staying on an AI basis works for us as we love our food and enjoy a drink. Thanks again to everyone, sorry that I can’t remember everyone’s name but you all made our holiday truly memorable. Hope to see everyone again soon
