The room was clean, the staff were very professional, the amenities were nice and clean. The views were espectacular and everything including the food was outstanding.

Punta Diamante Hotel at Ruitoque Condominium is a great place to stay, however, as a non-resident Colombian I was charge for the IVA, which other hotels in the country did not charged as I told them a was a non-resident.

The hotel is located a top a mountain,about an hour from the Bucaramanga airport. The setting is absolutely gorgeous within a residential community, where there are a few stores, restaurants, a golf course, spas, etc... The 100 plus rooms are spacious, with a terrific view, balcony, the toilet shower, sink and bathtub are all separate which is great. Mini fridge, coffee maker, plenty of closet space. Toiletries are plenty, and in our room in particular, the shower water pressure was bad, but I unserstand in other rooms this was not an issue. St the restaurants, the staff means well, but they just dont cut it. Our food arrived, more than once and we had to wait over 10 minutes for the silverware to arrive, for plates, and if we ordered anything extra it would take a while. The waitstaff is super friendly, just not so efficient. Everyone else we interacted with from the front desk, to the security staff, etc... was very kind, and helpfull. The grounds are just majestic, as we went out for walks everyday and it was simply breathtaking. There is even a church on premises. If given a choice, this is the place to come back to! Dont miss it, and if you are a golfer, this is for you

Nice hotel with a great location, Infrastructure and views. But the customer service is pretty poor. Several times we asked for either an ironing board, water, towels and other items and had to call several times to get the service done. But the most bothersome is getting charged $50,000 pesos for “Chipped” room card key(see attached picture!! The key was given to me with chipped corner and they made such a big deal about the card key that you feel like **** ! The rooms are showing their age and the shower door leaked pretty bad, the blackout curtain was with holes and did not close fully to the bottom. On the plus side, the spa is amazing and the food selection is really good, but you can not charge it to your room like most quality hotels. But the chipped card room key is quite bothering!!!!
