I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from.
The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel.
One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.?
All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future.

The location is absolutely fantastic for visiting Shaoxing. It cannot be beaten. The historic street of Lu Xun is right outside the lobby and most major city sights are within 10 to 20 minute walking distances. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfy and well-appointed done in a stylish traditional Chinese style from the early XXth century. The only problem with the hotel is, outside the room, the facilities are aging poorly and are being used and/or renovated in a rather haphazard way. It's a bit chaotic inside with multiple renovation sites that are not well isolated.
Excellent hotel with great location Service is great. Highly recommended. Will stay here again when we are back to Shaoxing for sure. Ms Deng at front desk is wonderful
Excellent location. Near attractions and walking street with many foods and restaurants. The room is clean, beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast spread is good and attentive service staff.
