Slightly out off that i didnt get the room i wanted and my booking had been misplaced because i was a day late. I was told they thought i had cancelled because i didnt show up. However, i still enjoyed my stay and tge staff are very approachable and friendly. I would definitely come back here on my next visit to the smiling coast.
A simple but very nice accomodation. Directly on the beach, with good connections to supermarkets, taxis, restaurants. Fresh bred every day to the room. A little kitchen inside, so you can prepair breakfast very good. I will come back again.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bungalow Beach Hotel and it was an incredibly relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home. They were attentive, always ready to assist with any needs and provided a welcoming atmosphere that truly enhanced my stay. The room was spotless, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness and the space was both modern and cozy. One of the highlights was the beach. Which was simply stunning. It was peaceful, offering the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Gambia. I spent hours there, soaking up the tranquility and feeling like I had my own private getaway. I would absolutely stay here again, as the combination of friendly service, a clean and comfortable room, and a serene beach experience made it a memorable trip.

Basic apartement. Goede bedden. Douche blijft warm, heeft geen krachtige straal, maar je kunt je haar prima wassen. We hadden voor airco gekozen, maar deze niet nodig gehad. We hebben zelf de dekbedden in de kast in onze hoezen gestopt. Wifi werkt eigenlijk niet, behalve heel vroeg in de ochtend. We hadden een mooi uitzicht op zee. Als je via de achteringang het strand op gaat en je loopt naar links zit daar een leuke strandtent met gratis bedjes en goede wifi (dominos) Algemeen: bijna nergens kun je met je creditcard betalen. Pinautomaten zijn vaak leeg (maybe tomorrow ??) maar Euros kun je goed wisselen. Dus neem genoeg contant mee. Met de taxi naar de ***** kost 200-300D daar zijn veel restaurants, de prijs ligt ook iets lager. Als je wordt benaderd voor wat dan ook (zo'n beetje elke 5 minuten) dan helpt het om te zeggen dat je al een chauffeur hebt, dan zijn ze zo weer weg. Smiling is for free. Dus met een mooie glimlach een keer nee zeggen en dan houdt het vanzelf op (op een enkeling na natuurlijk)
