Vale lodge was a pleasant surprise wrapped in comfort and courteousness in the harsh subzero weather of Pahalgam. We were welcomed into a warm lobby and led into a nicely furnished and heated room with modern amenities, and most importantly a great bathroom with a small walk-in closet complete with bathrobes and safe box. The food at the inhouse restaurant was good, very important since one can’t venture out much at dinner time ! Like every place in Pahalgam you can watch towering mountains and scenic views from the portico of the picturesque hotel! All the staff, specially Omar, were very helpful!
