I've had a great first experience in PV at the Golden Crown. The staff (including Tony and Alan) have all been incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is great, as well as the drinks and atmosphere. First time hearing the live band by the pool and loving them!
We enjoy staying at Crown Paradise Club. You cannot beat the location. Right next to the marina and able to watch the cruise ships. Only a 10 minute ride from the airport.Our room was kept clean and fridge was stocked daily. We enjoyed the buffet and the A La Cartes were excellent!. Staff in all areas are friendly and helpful. We are seniors but really prefer this family resort to it s sister, The Golden.
La atención en general es muy buena, solo es de suma importancia mejorar las habitaciones, el mobiliario es viejo e incluso roto, la atención de limpieza es lenta, falta adecuar cosas básicas como la llave del Jacuzzi no queda dentro del mismo y tira el agua a los costados y es muy molesto y peligroso. El snackbar de playa le falta más variedad, atención personalizada y amabilidad del personal, atienden de malas y mayor limpieza. La atención del restaurante Japonés excelente! Gracias Capitán! Y la comida deliciosa! Los botones muy amables y serviciales! Excelente! Gracias!
pagamos en el golden, llegamos y no tenian la habitacion, nos mandaron a otra habitacion hasta atras... la habitacion estaba llena de moho, olia horrible, tambien encontramos cucarachas y otros insectos. luego como no quise aceptar esa habitacion, ya tarde en la noche nos avisan que habia otra habitacion disponible pero en la zona familiar. cosa que YO NO PAGUE! Y NO ME REGRESARON NI UN PESO POR SU INCOMPETENCIA! horrbile mi experiencia en ese cuarto, aunque la recamara estaba bien, se veia que la acababan de remodelar. el ba?o llen de moho y aparte era ba?o abierto, cero privacidad. por otro lado, no tengo nada malo que decir de el staff, todo muy bien con ellos, siempre muy amables, respetuosos y al pendiente... el staff 100 de 100!!! el hotel en si horrible! la comida muy rica, menos el bufette de el area familiar, horrible la comida ahi! al final las instalaciones de alberca, bares, playa, todo lo demas muy bien! 100 de 100 el hotel en general no lo recomiendo!
Mi familia no conocía el mar tuvimos la oportunidad de llegar a un lugar maravilloso el mar el hotel las personas, el servicio todo estuvo perfecto para poder contar y decir que tuvimos unas vacaciones maravillosas. Pasamos momentos súper agradables gracias por ser Cómplices de esta bonita aventura volveremos eso se los aseguro hasta pronto
This is a very old resort with minimal maintenance done. The pictures you see on their website is from when it was brand new and in no way reflects the state of the resort now. Rooms are cleaned daily, hot water out of the sink cold water only showers. The site says the internet is free whereas they wanted to charge us for it. They advertise this as a 4 star hotel. I would be generous and call it 3 max! The service is absolutely atrocious, there’s Mexican time and then this place. For example we waited at the front desk funny enough to speak about the wifi, as we were there a lineup developed behind us 5 or 6 couples between the 8 people behind the counter only one was working, the others all laughing and having a good time, a manager stuck her head out of the office looked around and went back in. Waited 38 min to speak with someone. The food is boarder line disgusting, ultra simple, cold, and absolutely no passion put into it, but maybe I have to thank them for the poor quality it’s not very often you go to an all inclusive and lose weight. Again there is a person working behind but just looks at you when you have to stick your hand under the glass to try and get what little is left from the pan because everything is always picked through but they don’t care. Faster to get your own drink than wait for a server. They do have an alacarte restaurants on a lottery system, I’ll explain because this was not explained to us, there is a scan code the reservation start at 9am, you have until 905am to book or your reservation or your stuck eating at that crap buffet. We got to eat an à la carte once in 7 days at the Italian restaurant which was ok. Obviously I’ll never come back here and maybe because I assumed it was a four star my expectations were a bit too high. The plus and it really has nothing to do with the resort, the beach is nice, aside from the insane amount of peddlers trying to sell you their cheap junk. The ocean was nice with mostly sandy bottom. Most of the resorts sun shades on the beach are falling apart and the chairs to sit on have never been cleaned so bring a cloth to wipe all the bird poop off and sticky spilled drinks from the day previous. Anyways everyone’s options is their own, like I said I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone. If I was the hotel manger of this resort I would be embarrassed. Not good! Not good at all!
We went for 8 days mid-January. On the plus side there were 3 pools and 4 restaurants, all just steps from our room. The room... the toilet howled and water leaked on the floor. They fixed that after a few days and many soaked towels. The safe was broken and we were told he'd be back in a few minutes with a new one. Never came. The food was OK, but virtually the same every day. In Mexico but no good Mexican food. We picked this place since it was close to town and had good reviews. The beach was nice, although crawling with annoying vendors. The French restaurant was the best, the Italian a close second, but we found the Japanese one didn't measure up. All in all some good, some bad.
Really in 2 minds about this place. The property and pools were nice and clean. The beach lovely except for the typical vendors bothering you non stop. The food was not bad but very limited variety. Staff is great except the guy in the Asian restaurant. Mariza needs a shout out, wherever we went she was there and working. The resort is 5min walk to the cruise port to join excustions which if very convenient. 3 min walk to groceries if you need something. Ony went to one show and it was amazing. With kids 9pm is a bit late. Beds are hard but I am personally good with that. Now the not so good. The rooms are bare minimum, I had to ask for a coffee machine which I got 2 days later after asking a second time. Then you need to ask for cofee every other day, the cleaner never once removed to coffee ground or thought of replacing the cofee if it was done. (Btw it was very good coffee). The food on the buffer was without exception cold! The finer detail in room cleaning was NOT there. I point the corner of spiderweb to the cleaner and she removed it and left the spot 5in to the left of it. The toilet and shower design is terrible. You have to step out of the toilet to pull up your pants, the shower head was not adjustable anymore and was so hard on your skin. The design is such that the whole floor is flooded once you done showering. The room took 3 days to cool from 24 to 22 deg C. The bar fridge was not cold when we got there, I turned it down and at some point is was leaking all over the floor. Phone in the room does not work at all. With people at reception hardly speaking English and after taking 2 days to get a coffee machine I did not bother to complain. Bed and linen was clean and we had enough towel to put everywhere on the floors every day. I know it is not a 5 star report, but if this is 4 stars I dont want to see what a 3 star will be like. The place have all the features and location to be a true 4 star or even 5 star.
Hotel and facilities are in bad need of an update. Our original honey room suite was horrible, outdated, and very uncomfortable. Fortunately, we were able to get a three bedroom suite which was fantastic! Saved our vacation.
We arrived and were greeted warmly, found our room clean and beds comfortable! The shower has very hot water thats nice after a long day of beach sand sun We have breakfast with everyone being so friendly Germin goes out of his way brings me hot coffee and ice cream for my husband as well as all the servers to bring us anything .. omelets and coffee and lunch we liked tacos Dinner we see Jose’ who makes our day with his smile and great attitude!! He always goes out of his way as he his the host with the most?? Humberto always is fast with a smile and helpful Susi was sweet at the front and speaks english well and helped us greatly .. clean atmosphere, rooms. We slept well, and I was just nice to see people smile , and we are happy to go back.
