Pros: The food is varied and delicious. There’s a cozy beach right next to the hotel. Cons: The view from the window is of a desert and a construction site. The furniture in the rooms is old, and overall, the rooms don’t look like they do in the photos on Booking. Not all of the hotel staff are polite - some are outright rude. There’s a very busy road you have to cross to get to the beach. The rooms are not cleaned very well. There’s no iron available for guests to use - you're forced to use the laundry service, where they charge €8 per item for washing and ironing. The hotel grounds are very small. The absolute maximum I could give this hotel is three stars - and even that would be generous.

Laundry Service: Like many hotels, we offer professional laundry services with ironing included. Unfortunately, we do not provide shared irons due to safety and hygiene standards, but we understand how this may be inconvenient. Size & Location: Tylissos Beach is indeed a small hotel, and many guests value the peaceful atmosphere this brings. While the road between the hotel and beach is typical for coastal properties in Crete, we are doing our best to ensure safe pedestrian access. Im Rahmen einer Kreta-Rundreise mit einem Mietwagen verbrachten wir auch fünf Tage im Tylissos Beach Hotel in Ierapetra. Dort hatten wir eine Cozy Nest Suite mit privatem Pool und Halbpension. Zusammengefasst kann man sagen, dass der Aufenthalt wirklich wundervoll war. Selbstverst?ndlich war das Zimmer eine perfekte Grundlage dafür, der pers?nliche und stets ausmerksame Service des zu jeder Zeit freundlichen Personals rundete dies jedoch ab. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen war lecker zubereitet und abwechslungsreich. Schade ist lediglich, dass man beim Essen nicht draussen sitzen oder auf das Meer schauen kann. Der Speisesaal hat aufgrund des Mobiliars und der teilweise vielen gleichzeitig essenden Menschen einen leichten Touch von "Kantine". Wett gemacht wurde dies durch den guten Geschmack und das auch hier immer überaus freundliche Personal. Ierapetra als Ort ist charmant und diente uns als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Ausflüge im Osten der wundersch?nen Insel Kreta. Nach diesen Ausflügen haben wir am Strand direkt vor dem Hotel immer noch einige entspannte Stunden in der Nachmittagssonne genie?en k?nnen.

Für einen 4 Sterne Hotel, war es in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Leider war das Zimmer ein bisschen zu klein für 3 Personen und keine Abstellm?glichkeiten. Sauberkeit k?nnte besser sein und die Klimaanlage war veraltet und hatte komische Geruch.

Отдыхали в конце мая 2025 - понравилось в отеле абсолютно всё. Очень вкусные и разнообразные завтраки и ужины, приятный и отзывчивый персонал- люди действительно получают удовольствие от своей работы и делают ее хорошо! Уборка номеров лучшая из всех, что мы встречали в отелях Европы и Турции- чисто, аккуратно, ни одного пропущенного уголочка. Для любителей спокойного отдыха очень хорошее расположение отеля- вблизи нет шумных баров, ресторанов, других отелей. Собственный пляж тоже уединенный, оборудован хорошими лежаками, зонтами и столиками. На день рождения жены подарили большой торт за ужином, что было очень приятно. В целом рекомендуем отель всем любителям спокойного отдыха и сами с удовольствием вернемся при возможности.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine de vacances en Crête en séjournant dans cet établissement car point de départ de toutes nos excursions pour découvrir l'Est de l'?le (Elounda, Sitia, ZAkros...). Le service réception nous a bien aidé pour louer la voiture (indispensable) et réserver les activités et restaurants du midi, mais aussi choisir nos visites (tellement de choses à voir). Nous avions une chambre spacieuse avec un balcon, très utile pour profiter de la douceur des soirées avec 1 pina colada bien préparée par le barman. Le soir nous avons diné au restaurant (demi-pension), c'est tellement agréable d'avoir des personnes souriantes et service agréable et c?té cuisine, avec un buffet, de toujours proposer des produits crétois. Nous sommes repartis avec plein de beaux souvenirs de ce voyage ! Encore merci d'y avoir contribué

Situato a Ierapetra, una delle città più affascinanti dell’isola, l’hotel è il punto di partenza ideale per esplorare paesaggi mozzafiato, tesori storici e angoli naturali davvero unici. Ma, al di là della sua posizione perfetta, ciò che rende davvero speciale il Tylissos Beach Hotel è il personale. E in particolare, non possiamo fare a meno di elogiare il team del ristorante, che è senza dubbio uno dei punti di forza più straordinari dell’hotel. Dal primo all'ultimo piatto, si percepisce la passione e l'impegno che i camerieri, sempre attenti e sorridenti, mettono nel servire ogni portata. Ogni pasto è un’esperienza, non solo per il gusto, ma per l’atmosfera che si respira: un'accoglienza calorosa e genuina che fa sentire ogni ospite speciale. I cuochi dell’hotel, poi, sono veri maestri nell'arte della cucina cretese, e si vede! Il Tylissos Hotel da all'ospite un benvenuto accogliente e caloroso. L'hotel è relativamente piccolo e questo consente sicuramente di poter godere di tutta la cura e le coccole che il Direttore insieme allo Staff riserva ai suoi ospiti. Ogni angolo è gestito da personale attento e premuroso che ti accoglie, ti guida e ti consiglia per qualsiasi desiderio tu voglia esaudire. La camera è dotata di un balconcino che consente di stendere piccola biancheria e di godere delle serate in intimità con una vista mozzafiato. Il bagno non è grandissimo e non è dotato di finestra ma le pulizie erano giornaliere e sempre molto accurate. La camera di per sé è spaziosa ed il materasso di buona fattura che non fa venire mal di schiena. Unica nota negativa della camera: il rumore della ventola del condizionatore che soprattutto di notte o alla sera diventava fastidioso. All'interno dell'hotel un piccolo cortile crea un'atmosfera tranquilla dove l'unico rumore proviene dai tanti piccoli uccellini che canticchiano. Piscina grande e con servizio bar e area benessere con possibilità di regalarsi un massaggio o un trattamento specifico. Spiaggia attrezzata sul mare intima, tranquilla. L'area è così naturalistica che vengono a far schiudere le uovo le tartarughe marine (se siete fortunati come noi a fine agosto ne abbiamo vista una piccolina scavare a fatica la sabbia, fino ad arrivare sul bagnasciuga per lasciarsi cullare dalle onde e sparire nella sua nuovo vita: il mare). Il punto forte però rimane l'area al pian terreno dove troverete il ristorante e il bar. Ciò che ha rubato i nostri cuori è stato il personale di sala. Attenti, generosi, accoglienti, premurosi, divertenti e simpatici e con i quali si crea un legame incredibile che ti fa venire voglia di tornare il prima possibile come se fosse diventato "casa". Per non parlare della cucina e dei cuochi. Cibo fenomenale, tipico greco. Ogni tanto fanno serate a tema (quella italiana con la carbonara con il prezzemolo e la panna però vi prego di non ripeterla). Devo dire che c'era moltissima scelta e varietà, la qualità dei prodotti è alta e si nota la freschezza. C'è molta cura nel servizio e nell'esposizione e nel cucinare quasi come fosse uno show cooking piatti speciali per serate a tema. Tutto sempre buono e che può soddisfare tutti dagli onnivori ai vegetariani ai vegani ai fruttariani ( c'è un banco di sola frutta fresca strepitoso!!! ) per non parlare dell'area verdure, dell'area formaggi, dello yogurt greco unico e inimitabile (buonissimo!!!) e il banco con i dolci quello con le zuppe e carne o il pesce. E poi la colazione....marmellate fatte in casa, banco con frutta fresca, candita, frutta secca, pane fresco, dolcetti fatti in casa....no va beh vi assicuro che non ve ne pentirete. Punto di nota anche l'animazione con balli originali greci dove si balla tutti assieme e ci si diverte moltissimo. Yamas!!!
