Thanks for your review of your stay on Sunday, as I explained to you, all of our rooms were treated for pests late last year so I can only assume due to having 7 days of very extreme heat here in the North East, garden cockroaches were seeking water anywhere they could and entering buildings they would not normally enter. Of course I immediately moved you to another room.

How entitled do you feel. You feel it your right to bag us out despite the fact that the only way we had to contact you was via the message portal on **********. We couldn't call you as you don't have an Australian mobile number. I messaged you multiple times to arrange your very late check in to no avail. At no time was I ever rude to you. Our reception is not a 24/7 so I don't know what you expected.

I apologise for the food left in the fridge. The rest of the room and bathroom were cleaned thoroughly though. I was not here when this happened but will speak to the housekeeper that did your room and alert her of your concern.

Five out of the 6 Two Bedroom Apartments have that configuration however we have Apartment 38 which you were in that has 2 x Queen beds and a roll-away. As you booked through a third party and did NOT discuss what you needed we have no way of knowing who is in your booking. Aside from that all the other five apartments were already booked and by the time you checked in had people in them over the Easter period so I could not swap you to another Apartment due to being occupied. May I suggest calling to discuss your requirements instead of booking online and taking the chance of not getting what you actually require. It is always the best option to actually call the motel directly and where possible we can most times accommodate your needs.
