Very comfortable bed, with a great location. walking distance from train station.
Staff were fantastic and welcoming.
We arrived a bit late & also stayed a bit late too.
They a were more than understanding and gracious!!
Disappointed
The staff were really friendly and helpful, everything was spotless and breakfast was good but I found the decor very cold and unwelcoming , nowhere to sit in comfort with a coffee or read a book, for this reason only I wouldn’t return.
Couldn’t gee a good night’s sleep.
First off, you couldn’t set your own room temperature and on too of that the turned off the AC in the middle of the night. With the thick comforter it was just too warm. Woke up every night in the middle of the night. Opened the window to let in cooler and then it was way too noisy downstairs with all the buses and people talking!!!
Love the breakfast. Plenty to choose from and an option for Gluten Free which was great.
Would have been nice to know the Coffee was extra $ prior to ordering it, but othrewise it was great.
The staff were fantastic. The checkin with Alicia was perfect - she was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. We were there the night it flooded and David (?) the gentlemen on that night was stressed but handled it very well. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Trieste.
Outstanding hotel - great experience in Trieste
Nothing short of amazing. From the minute David checked me in, the experience began. He was welcoming, patient, and memorable in his concern. Then I went up to the room. It was beautiful- the decor, the lighting, and openness. The attention to detail and the amenities, including a robe and slippers. The breakfast too exceeded expectations. Smoked salmon, prepared meats, beautiful cakes and torts, and fruit, as well as the standard yogurt, cheese, bacon and eggs, etc. The breakfast room staff brought the coffees and the refills to the table with a smile. The location of the hotel was perfect. A five or ten minute walk directly from the train station, set in the heart of the historic district. I chose this hotel because of the wonderful reviews. So glad I read them and took them to heart.
