This was our 3rd trip. We really like this hotel however it had lost a bit of its sparkle this time. It was end of season, so we know it is quieter, we always come in October half term. This time no belly dancing, no darts, no open fire etc. We was also sad to see Aguero was no longer there. He made it such a fun & friendly environment, my kids loved him. Maggie is lovely and really helpful. The new pool is really good. My kids love the slides. The bathrooms in our block need a bit of tlc. The maids were great, so lovely and do a great job. Pancakes at breakfast are my kids favourite, good selection of fresh food. Hotel is in a great location. Spa is brilliant and so is Ali next door for hair. Thanks

Where to start!!! This is our second visit to Pine Valley and it did not disappoint. It is in a beautiful setting and the minute you step through the entrance you are made to feel welcome. Harry and Jimmy have been exceptional along with the rest of the team to meet our every need and make us feel special. The cleaning team left us some beautiful towel sculptures every day and the room was left nipping clean. The only complaint I would have having spoken to the entertainment team is that although they have some great ideas to provide some great fun throughout the day they are restricted by their management. We will most definitely return next year having gained some life long friends whom we want to see again!! Thank you so much!!!xxx

We were a wedding party of 21 (adults and children) and booked Pine Valley back in March after reading many positive reviews. As our trip approached, we noticed some more recent reviews that were less favourable, which naturally left us feeling a little apprehensive about what to expect. However, we needn’t have worried. Hotel & Staff Pine Valley is a wonderful hotel, ideally located and offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are truly exceptional — some of the best I have ever encountered. Our holiday experience was made all the more special thanks to Maggie, whose assistance and dedication went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. I would also like to extend our thanks to Jimmy, who made a fantastic impression on the children, particularly in the evenings when he would sit by the fire roasting marshmallows with them. His friendliness and effort created memories our group will truly cherish. Rooms We had a mixture of older and newer rooms. The only slight negative would be that the older rooms could benefit from better lighting, as they felt quite dark at times, which made getting ready on an evening a little tricky. That said, the maids worked tirelessly to keep the rooms spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. Food The food at the hotel is lovely, with plenty of variety and good portion sizes. Nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant staff, and any requests were handled with a smile. I would definitely recommend trying the chicken basket , it was delicious! Overall We had a fantastic experience at Pine Valley and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you to all the staff for helping make our wedding trip so memorable.

When I arrived I was allocated one of the rooms that was still to be refurbished. The room was tired and the bed was rock hard. After not sleeping for two days, the hotel moved me to one of the refurbished rooms which had twin beds as the mattresses were much softer so the issue with resolved. The new room is still tired in places and quite small but much nicer. Unfortunately, you could hear everything in all the surrounding rooms but it was clean and tidy and I was not around much. The guest liaison manager could not do enough to help anybody so is an asset to the Hotel . Breakfast was good with a nice selection fresh cooked omelette and pancakes. As a solo, I don’t think I would return to this Hotel, it was family orientated and wasn’t quite the luxury I expected, but the stay was good, great location, good entertainment and really helpful staff

We stayed at Pine Valley for a week. Had a family room which was ideal with two attached rooms so perfect size for my family. Every thing was clean and the maids did a brilliant job of cleaning especially after my teenagers. Good selection of food for breakfast and I loved the pancakes so had them most mornings. All the staff were really friendly and would always go out their way for us which really helped make our holiday and we felt safe and completely able to relax and not worry. We will be back next year !!

Have been coming to PV for many years and always have an amazing. Hotel always clean and well presented. Staff will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a million %. Harry, Jimmy, Maggie are just amazing people that’s just to name a few! No concerns with sun beds no sunbed wars ?? Wouldn’t say these are bad points BUT!! Pool is always freezing ??. Breakfast really needs a re vamp. Needs better entertainment day and night. Other than that PV will also be our second home, see you next year

We have just returned from our second stay at Pine Valley this year. After having a fantastic time in May, we wanted to return for a last minute holiday however unfortunately we were less impressed with the hotel this time for several reasons. As mentioned in previous reviews, the rooms are very small and dated. We were put in a different room this time to before and this one felt even smaller and very cramped for two adults and a travel cot for my young daughter. I had requested twin beds but was given a double. I’m sure they would have changed this for us, if I had asked but we decided the room was too cramped as it was to have two single beds so left them as a double and made do. The glass shower door also fell off on me whilst showering which is obviously very dangerous and I was lucky it didn’t shatter. This was reported to reception and “fixed” however it happened again on the last night so I really think the rooms could do with a complete refurbishment to match the rest of the hotel. Our TV also didn’t work and I reported this to reception but nothing was done about it throughout our stay. This wouldn’t usually bother me on holiday however we had several days of heavy rain so it would have given us something to do when trapped in the room. Another noticeable difference between May and October was the lack of entertainment. One thing we loved about the hotel the first time was the fun atmosphere around the pool during the day and at the bar in the evenings however this time there was no water polo or pool activities. The music was the same playlist on repeat daily too. The evening entertainment was also poor too with bingo being advertised at 10pm but then not starting until 10:45pm. I had already bought my ticket but I was absolutely shattered due to being pregnant and so I wouldn’t have bothered if I knew it was going to start so late. We also rushed back to the hotel on our last evening for karaoke, which again was non-existent with the entertainer saying “if anyone wants to sing, I’m here”. I would personally expect an entertainment team to be egging guests on or leading by example to get things started but it seemed that he wasn’t too bothered which was very disappointing and a bit of a naff last night for us. We would have stayed out elsewhere, if we had known this was the case. Leo and Bruno are both lovely and they always made time to chat to us but I do feel that the end of season has obviously got to them and they had a more can’t be bothered attitude this time round. I also could feel a lack of enthusiasm from other members of staff too and the fantastic service we received in May was unfortunately not matched this time. Harry was the only exception to this and he worked absolutely tirelessly to ensure we were always looked after however he was basically doing this on his own so had to spread himself very thin between all of the guests. This meant that sometimes our drinks orders weren’t taken around the pool or dirty plates

The hotel is pleasant, food not bad, pools lovely and slides and right on the lovely beach. Hotels staff are rude, Russian holiday makers arrogant and rude, even the kids. No idea of how to queue, in fact so rude they just barge right through you.
