Cavalier hotel was such a great experience the staff was amazing thx for mr yahya and mr bashar but the breakfast wasn’t that good .

A hotel dating back to the late 1960's, it's located in the strategic Hamra street. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly from the reception to the restaurant to housekeeping. Free tea and coffee and kettle in the room and a big bottle of mineral water replenished daily. The air conditioner was great and so was the shower flow. My room was spacious and had a safe. Wifi was strong. However, the bathtub clogged every time I took a shower and needs renovation. Breakfast was also limited. All in all a good stay and will definitely stay here again.

Ho trascorso insieme alla mia famiglia una notte in questa struttura che includeva anche la prima colazione. Abbiamo prenotato due stanze, una tripla al piano terra ed una doppia al secondo piano mansardato. La stanza sita a piano terra ha uno scarso ricambio d’aria, affidato solo al climatizzatore poiché l’unica apertura verso l’esterno è rappresentata da una saracinesca che la notte viene chiusa; la stanza mansardata al secondo piano non è adatta a persone di statura superiore ad 1,60 mt, il bagno è decisamente piccolo, soprattutto la doccia, e per assurdo manca il bidet; carino il terrazzino, spazioso e dotato di comode poltrone e tavolino da esterno; pulizia generale poco accurata; la colazione è nella norma, manca però la parte salata. Il prezzo ci è sembrato esagerato in rapporto con la qualità del servizio offerto.

Das Hotel ist durch seine gediegene historische Fassade und Einrichtung schon etwas besonderes. Hier und da müsste Hand angelegt werden. Das Restaurant und die Hotelbar gibt es nicht mehr. Also eher ein Hotel Garni. Drumherum bekommt man aber mehr als genug. Der Fahrstuhl an der Lobby war w?hrend unserer drei N?chte defekt. Der zweite Fahrstuhl war nur umst?ndlich zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war das Geld nicht wert. B?ckereien gibt es in der n?heren Umgebung.

eine Zimmerreinigung fand nicht statt!das angebotene Kabelfernsehen war nicht verfügbar!der Zimmersafe wurde erst nach Nachfrage aktiviert.ein Wasserkocher für den morgendlichen Kaffee war nicht vorhanden.das Frühstücksangebot war unterdurchschnittlich....
diese Unterkunft kann man trotz toller Lage und toller Geschichte nicht weiterempfehlen...schade...

Pros: charming historic building, room was comfortable; good breakfast.
Cons: 3 bottles of liquid soap in room - 2 empty 1 with small amount which ran out the next day. No housekeeping on 2nd day. It took 4 ( four!) requests over several hours to get a bottle of soap handed to me. Towels were finally delivered at end of day ( used towels not removed). The desk clerk was very rude - he was apparently very put out that I was asking for basic items. There was no hairdryer in room and internet was very irregular.

Im Grunde ist die Bewertung von *******, aufgrund dessen ich dieses Hotel gew?hlt habe kompl. falsch. Wir sind von daher von ******* sehr entt?uscht.
Sauberkeit, wenn man reinkommt steht dort als erstes eine total durchgesessene Couch. Die Duschw?nde und die Armaturen waren absolut nicht sauber, trotzten nur so vor Kalkflecken, hatten das sofort bem?ngelt aber es wurde nichts behoben. Dort wo sich normalerweise ein Kühlschrank befindet war ein ein leere Schrank. Der Kleiderschrank hatte ebenfalls Macken. Tresor vorhanden aber nicht nutzbar. Nun zum Buffett, Rührei und Speck, kalt, alle Br?tchen trocken. Ich k?nnte noch einiges mehr aufz?hlen, aber ich glaube es reicht :-( :-(

Het is een uniek hotel met veel geschiedenis. Midden in het centrum van de Altstadt. Parkeren is op 2 minuten loopafstand. Kamer is prima wat grote betreft. Tegenvallend: Geen airco of propellers, oude vloerbedekking met veel vlekken. Personeel wat uit verschillende landen komt en elkaar moeten vertellen hoe alles werkt. Ontbijt was matig van kwaliteit maar ook wat presenteren betreft. Schoonmaak kamer ook niet dagelijks en moest zelf vragen om nieuwe handdoeken. Kortom nog het een en ander te verbeteren.

It was nicely located. Room was spacious then the picture. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good. It had a walk in closet too.
