Colazione fatta mentre veniamo fissati dall’inizio alla fine da questa ragazza che stava in piedi a guardarci o a dirci le cose più ovvie in modo tutt’altro che professionale. Ci siamo sentiti osservati e abbiamo terminato il più in fretta possibile. Inquietante. Poi il proprietario, con cui ci siamo lamentati del mancato funzionamento della funzione temperatura della vasca idromassaggio in camera, ci ha detto che la ragazza ci avrebbe dimostrato come invece funzionasse bene. Morale della favola: non sapeva dove mettere le mani, era visibilmente impanicata, non sapeva cosa dire, balbettava, dava ragione a noi addirittura, e dopo aver pagato €150,00 per festeggiare un anniversario per una vasca idromassaggio non usata che ci ha fatto perdere ore di tentativi, voleva persino farci pagare una bottiglietta d’acqua da 500 ml consumata dal frigo bar comunicandocelo anche in questo caso in modo poco professionale. Ovviamente abbiamo fatto presente che non ci sembrava assolutamente giusto. La ragazza era imbarazzata, quando le spiegavamo nel dettaglio tutto ciò che avevamo fatto per usare l’idromassaggio seguendo anche le istruzioni illustrate; siamo abituali clienti di strutture con vasche idromassaggio. La diplomazia ed il dialogo non sono serviti a trovare una soluzione col proprietario, telefonicamente, o a trovare un punto d’ incontro. Ringraziamo per la bottiglia di prosecco omaggiata al nostro arrivo ma sconsiglio e non ritorno.

Stayed here a few times before. Just like previous stay… excellent! Wonderful hotel near in the heart of the city. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, very convenient. Highly recommended to family, couples, or solo traveler visiting Heidelberg.

We had an amazing stay! The front desk manager was so helpful- he had great recommendations and was so hospitable! The rooms were also large and so comfortable. We loved the historical touches combined with the comfortable beds and linens.

The location was amazing- right in the center of the old town - making it easy to walk everywhere. The room was comfortable and the hotel is in a beautiful historic building.

The location was great and the two people at the front desk at check in and late night were nice. Everything else was somewhat subpar. The person working checkout was nowhere to be found and when he did show up, made me feel like I was an inconvenience to his day. The room I had was pretty dated and the shower drain didn’t work well, causing water to backup int the shower tub floor. It took about 5-7 minutes after the water was shut off for it to completely drain. I also had difficulty getting hot water, took both showers in slightly warm but still chilled water. Restaurant was closed / being renovated when I was there.
