Host is super nice and provided delicious home made Chinese breakfast. She ?arranged everything for me as needed including driver to Huangshanbei.

The hotel is beautifully designed with good materials, a comfortable bed and a lovely window nook for drinking tea. Very clean too. It is in a quiet area about 10min cab ride from the main town. You can walk to the beautiful emerald valley. You can find one or two eating options nearby but lots more delicious restaurants in the nearby town. The main disappointment was with the service and attention to guests. The hotel staff had a brush attitude making us feel unwelcome. Breakfast was really disappointing - just a few buns that were not too fresh and an egg. The hotel staff did arrange a driver for us who was great - you will need that to get around to the mountains.
Lovely homestay in Feicui village that's 5 min walk from Emerald Valley, which is another worthy attraction itself. It is 10 min drive from Tangkou town which is at the foot of Huangshan. Booked this place thanks to another review that mentioned Tangkou is cluttered and not scenic (which proved to be absolutely true). Homestay owners also arranged free rides to Huangshan entrance and back as well as raincoats and hiking sticks for the climb. Wonderfully appointed rooms with hearty breakfast provided everyday. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you to the owners and housekeeper who made our stay a memorable one.
It was a really nice hotel to stay, the hotel dedicated service support to help people to dry their wet clothes, it gets really hot climbing and also it rains. The hotel service person's name is Huang xing Hua. She is very nice and helped us to find the right ways to see the sights.
The room looks new and the extra large double was very comfortable. The host provided very personalised service by arranging transport to huangshan and advising the route to take. Food was good and affordable too.
