The core building of Chengdu Jintang Juxiang Academy originated from the Liu Family Ancestral Hall in a thousand-year-old village at the junction of Wuyuan and Huangshan in Jiangxi Province, spanning over two centuries of history. During the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, villagers jointly funded the construction of this ancestral hall to unite the community. Construction began in 1785 and was completed in 1793, taking a full eight years. The hall covers over a thousand square meters across two floors, with exquisite carvings and beams throughout. Now after careful restoration, it has been reborn, inheriting the exquisite craftsmanship and humanistic warmth of ancient Chinese architecture
