Quiet countryside property.
The rooms were nicely appointed but the walls are thin and you could clearly hear the people on the other side. We made sure we spoke quietly so we wouldn’t disturb any of the other rooms but unfortunately that was not reciprocated.
A nice spot convenient to some beautiful Umbrian towns.
You definitely need a car to stay here.

Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und idyllisch auf einem gro?en, gepflegten Grundstück – ideal zum Entspannen. Der Empfang war ausgesprochen herzlich, und wir wurden gleich mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps zur Umgebung versorgt. Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich, sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Insgesamt ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Check in was good. Helpful receptionist (Abigail I think). Room was pleasant but terrible WiFi. No USB points which is inexcusable today. A/c was very old and ineffective. Restaurant- evening meal was not great despite high expectations looking at the menu. Staff were cold (and at one point unfriendly). Breakfast was very poor. The most basic offering we had on our 3 week road trip in Italy. No excuse for lack of fresh food in a “farm” in Umbria. The “honesty bar” needs a complete re- think. It’s all very basic. We felt that whoever owns it has lost interest and has no passion for it. It could be so lovely but we left underwhelmed and disappointed. Not sure how it’s included in the Mr&Mrs Smith listings. On check out if the staff had asked me how I will stay was I would have told them. They didn’t ask, they clearly don’t care.

Mooie plek in een zeer rustige omgeving. Bovendien goed gelegen als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. Grote parking, mooi ingerichte kamers, authentiek kader en andere faciliteiten zoals leuke salons, zwembad, restaurant, enz. Een fijne plek om te vertoeven. Een minpuntje is de douche in onze badkamer, die bestond uit een klein sproeiertje in de badkuip. En als je een hele week blijft, gaat het ontbijt, ook al oogt het schijnbaar uitgebreid, toch wel wat vervelen.

De parking vind je niet direct, de structuur van het hotel is niet evident, maar eens je er bent ontdek je een mooie oude hoeve met een prachtige tuin en zwembad, met rustgevende salons en een uitstekend restaurant. Wij hadden een suite op de eerste verdieping (= een waar appartement): prachtig. Het was alleen niet evident om de zware valies (van een 16-daagse reis) naar boven te slepen via de buitentrap. Een gouden raad: als je komt voor een paar dagen, maak dan een valiesje met wat je nodig hebt voor die dagen en laat de rest in de koffer op de parking.

Loved this place! So peaceful and relaxing, yet still within driving distance to nearby towns and great excursions. Federico and Abigail were incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
Breakfast was light but fresh and healthy—croissants, homemade fruit cakes, fresh juices, a variety of coffees, even some homemade cheese.
We especially appreciated the "honesty bar" with its nice selection of wines. We enjoyed a few glasses out on the terrace and in the cozy living room.
Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with thoughtful hosts.

Nice luxury Borgo in a quiet area.

Location incantevole immersa nella natura. Noi siamo stati al ristorante per cena. Metre simpatico e preparazioni buone ma porzioni veramente ridicole, specialmente per alcuni piatti. Sembravano assaggi di piatti che poi sarebbero dovuti arrivare. Peccato

Resort fantastico immerso nel verde , frutto di un accurato restauro nel rispetto dei materiali e dell’architettura del luogo. Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera ampia arredata con gusto, che si affacciava direttamente sul parco Bella la piscina e molto curata la zona ristorante/colazione ricavata ai margini del parco con possibilità di mangiare a pochi metri dal verde Tutto il personale sempre attento e particolarmente gentile ha contribuito a fare della nostra vacanza un’esperienza indimenticabile
