Guest：Stóra-ásgeirsá was our family's favorite stay during our 8-day trip around the ring road. We stayed in other excellent places, almost every one of them in a beautiful Icelandic setting, but Stóra-ásgeirsá had some advantages: It's a working farm with awesome horses you can ride, feed, and pet. The owner Magnus is a stellar guy. He also played an acoustic Metallica cover for us on his guitar during morning coffee in the farm's pub. Nobody else in Iceland did that for us:) Our teens approved. We got to bottle-feed adorable lambs. We played with brand-new barn kittens. The family house with three bedrooms was roomy and comfortable. Plus good wi-fi. The nearby restaurant called Northwest was great for dinner after a long day of driving. There's a waterfall and hot tub on the farm. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Guest：We stayed only one night but we love the place. Family flat is very spacious including a living room and kitchen. Location is quiet but the host Magnus and Celina are super nice. Kids really enjoy the stay especially for the interactions with the horses, dogs and cats on the farm.

Guest：This was my first ride at 4 different Iceland farms and, by far, the most disappointing. I cannot recommend staying at this farm nor riding there. The housing offered virtually no amenities beyond towels and bed sheets. Not even a bath soap! There were kitchen utensils but not even samples of tea or coffee. As for the ride, the leader did not bother to teach us how to tolt -- my reason to be there. It was mostly walking with one frantic gallop. The location IS lovely and the horses are wonderful, but save your time and precious money for a farm that wants to cater to a visitor's wish for a memorable Iceland riding adventure.

Guest：Personnellement je ne suis pas fan de ce lieu. C'est assez impersonnel: deux bungalow pour 4 chambres avec kitchenette. C'est très propre et fonctionnel (sauf le lavabo qui est plut?t un lave mains). Mais pas de petit déjeuner ni de salle commune. Donc vous ne rencontrez personne. Vous avez juste loué une chambre pour dormir. C'est triste.
