Guest：My wife and I decided to explore the island by scooter, shortly after arriving in Siargao; we intended to only stay a couple of nights and then return to General Luna, but we ended up extending and staying at DaRosa Del Mar for the remainder of our vacation. The place is wonderful. The bungalows are fitted out to a very high quality, with comfy beds and spacious modern bathrooms. The grounds are beautiful, with colourful flowers/orchids, coconut trees, and nice areas to relax. The beach is the best we found throughout our entire time in Siargao; lovely sand, and great for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking (available for guests to use). The restaurant serves a variety of delicious food, served by attentive and friendly staff, and is popular with Siargao residents who travel just for the great food and dining atmosphere, even if not staying at the resort. The resort is a great base for exploring Siargao's attractions, including Sugba Lagoon, Magpoponko Rock Pools, and Pacifico Beach, which we visited on our rented scooter. Dave and Rose have created a wonderful place, and they are lovely people and great hosts. I understand that the resort took some damage from the typhoon that hit in December 2021 shortly after we left, which is very sad given all the hard work that Dave and Rose have put in to creating the resort. However, I understand that they are fixing it up, and will re-open as soon as possible. I would highly recommend everyone explore the island (beyond General Luna) and spend some time at Dave and Rose's place.

Guest：aRosa is run by a friendly couple Dave and Rosa. They do a wonderful job welcoming you into their small well set up resort that sits on a stunning beach in the north of the island. Tranquil and serene with excellent food and equally good coffee. Highly recommended for a peaceful get away.

Guest：Great stay on the Beach! Very friendly staff and a perfect place to skip jet lag for me and my family. The restaurant at the hotel attracted a lot of outside clients which just confirms it high standards. We stayed in a house just next to the beach and it was perfect. High speed internet, nice beds and air conditioning. Food is great and overall a super relaxing place. Perfect place to get away from the crowded and busy southern part of the island.
