Staff is amazing! From desk staff was exceptional. Operation wise, elevators were down and all ice machines. Would definitely stay again

We stay in Poughkeepsie 5 to 10 times a year and I believe this will be our new go to. While the other hotel we stay at is lovely, we enjoyed the Hyatt a little bit better. Thank you for having us.

They’re were all great at Hyatt Poughkeepsie! My daughters love the indoor pool and gym. Very clean and inviting. Will always stay at Hyatt while visiting Poughkeepsie NY

This Hotel and specialty their staff exceeded my expectations. All areas were clean and functional, is not common to find a gym where all the equipment works. Quality of Breakfast and cleanliness was excellent. Room spacey and comfy. Definitely will be a regular as I love hiking in that area.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie and had a mixed experience. First, the positives: the staff were absolutely awesome—super friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, and the pool was clean and well-maintained, which we really enjoyed. However, I was disappointed by the breakfast situation. I was under the impression that breakfast was free, as it is at most Hyatt Place locations, but I ended up having to pay for it. It seems this location might be one of the few testing a "paid breakfast" model or requiring a specific room rate to get it for free. Pro-tip: Check your booking details or ask at the front desk before you head down to eat so you aren't surprised by the bill!

So I made sure I called ahead and email since we weee staying with a group. I asked to make sure we were on the same floor. They said the notes showed that but never had our room setup in the same floor, so we were the only ones left out. No TVs worked from the storm. Didn’t give anyone a heads up and knew this for days. Not happy at all and I never have issues with hotels

I been at this location in 2022 and i was so impress with everything that i knew i had to revisit. I went feb. 2026 and i wasnt please with my visit. Besides the Young man who served us food from.the bar, i was truly disappointed. I stay only because it was my husband's birthday. Otherwise i would have left
