We recently stayed at Under the Sun Cycladic Village in Tinos, and it was one of those rare places that completely lives up to — and even exceeds — expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking views: endless Aegean blue stretching out in front of you, with a sense of peace and privacy that’s hard to find even in the quieter Cycladic islands. The design of the property is exceptional — minimal yet warm, beautifully thought out, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. Everything, from the materials to the layout, speaks of quality and care. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the level of service. Dimitris looked after us throughout, always available and making sure everything ran smoothly. A special thank you as well to Panagiotis, who managed to accommodate us last minute with real kindness and efficiency. We also appreciated the property’s curated recommendations page, which was a goldmine of local tips — from tavernas to quiet beaches we’d never have discovered on our own. It gave us the perfect balance of adventure and ease, and helped us make the most of our time on the island. If you’re looking for a place that combines privacy, exceptional design, stunning views, and heartfelt hospitality, Under the Sun Cycladic Village is a true gem. We left feeling recharged, inspired, and already dreaming of coming back.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to many villages but you’ll need a car to get around Tinos. Amazing views from the balcony. Unforgettable sunset! You get the feeling that you’re alone in this hotel, we really didn’t see anyone else. The breakfast was served in our room and even had the nice speaker to listen to your favorite music and watch the sunset from the terrace. The bed is one of the biggest you can find, it was very comfortable too. Bathroom was roomy and well designed with the toilet separate. The staff was very polite and helped out with the luggages. Thank you!
This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my life. The view is almost unreal with amazing views of the Aegean Sea and the sky. The rooms was well designed, clean with breakfast served at our room every morning. The staff of the hotel were very helpful and went out of their way to give you useful tips and make our trip comfortable. The bed was perfect with pillows of different kinds to cater all preferences. The fact that we stayed at this hotel made our trip even more unforgettable. We would highly recommend it and definitely want to return again.
We went after an extremely difficult year , I am a surgeon and the pressure was immense. I saw the photos of the hotel and thought this must be what I need to treat my burn out . And for the first time ever I got more than I ever hoped for. The world that sums it all is immaculate!!! The signature suite was beautiful minimal yet luxurious , the porch had a mini pool with jacuzzi beautifully positioned built in couches and sunbeds , in front of us unimaginable view of unlimited blue seas and the straights between Tinos Siros and Mykonos as seen from an altitude of 500 meters. Serenity and beauty, breakfast was fresh every morning, in our room nicely prepared and packed. Staff was helpful and addressed all our needs. I won’t even mention the cleanliness , products, internet, Bluetooth sound bar, lighting, tv and Netflix available. Everything was so well that I can’t wait to go again even for a weekend! Can’t recommend it enough and trust me I have traveled a lot
Under the Sun Cycladic Villages is an exceptional mountain hotel. The rooms are spacious and feature private jacuzzis, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast is delightful, with a variety of fresh and delicious options. The serene mountain views and friendly staff make this a perfect getaway.
I wish I would have stayed longer, this place is perfection! Beautiful setting, rooms are gorgeous, the main pool is really nice. The sunsets are incredible. We travel all around the world full time & this boutique hotel will go down as one of our favorites! And the breakfast basket delivered in the morning with local Tinos foods was so thoughtful and yummy! You absolutely can’t go wrong with this hotel. (Although, I’d say if you have little kids or kids that don’t listen, it may not be the best setting because it is on a hillside with many cliffs. Our kids loved it, but they are 9 & 7 yo.)
What a beautifully done and designed boutique hotel! Not close to the main town, but if you are looking for solitude with an amazing view of the water from high-above this is the place. Your own plunge pool and outside seating area to enjoy the breezes and french doors that open to let in the fresh air. Each morning a breakfast is served in a basket with local delicacies. Each day is different, so it was a fun surprise to start your day. It felt like we had the property to ourselves the way the rooms are situated. The staff was friendly and informative.
