What a beautiful spot, with the best service you will find anywhere! Ricardo and the team were so welcoming and accommodating- it was truly a fabulous stay! We spent New Year’s Eve there and had a gorgeous meal, wine and wonderful company. We can’t say enough good things about the space and people. When we checked out, my son forgot a few item in the room, and Ricardo drove 20 minutes to catch-up and return our items to us! Thank you all for a most amazing stay!

My wife and I had to go to Buenos Aires for business, but we knew we wanted to visit the city / region of Mendoza considering it was our first time in Argentina. My wife was actually the one who had scouted out El Carmelo Mountain Lodge, and we were BLOWN AWAY when we arrived. She literally teared up when she walked in and saw the view (see pics). To say that this place is worth every penny is a massive understatement. Not only do you have these incredible views of Aconcagua and the Andes right outside one of the four rooms at the lodge, but Neyla is an incredible on-site host who serves breakfast to you on your back deck every morning and dinner in the evenings (if you so choose). The room itself is HUGE with 1400 sq.ft of space, all of which is dedicated to the massive wall of glass that gives you pristine views of the mountains at all times. Beyond the incredible views and hosts at El Carmelo Mountain Lodge, you also have many awesome places to visit nearby. Within 30 minutes in any direction, there are many great local eateries, whitewater rafting on El Rio de Mendoza, and more. About an hour away you can get to many wineries (we highly recommend visiting Catena Zapata), and if you want to take a beautiful 2 hour drive through the Andes you can visit the Aconcagua Preserve Park, all of which can be arranged by the hosts (the tickets are a bit difficult to get if you just show up at the park). And if you are just a hiker in general you can walk right down to dry river bed and abandoned mining road at the base of the property and go for many miles. In the end, we cannot endorse El Carmelo Mountain Lodge enough. We had an absolutely amazing experience and guarantee you will too. We will be going back to Argentina in the future because we loved it so much, and there is no question in our minds that we will go back and stay here because of how well we were treated during our stay.

My wife and I stayed at El Carmelo Mountain Lodge recently and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We were welcomed at the gate by the manager himself. He helped with parking the car and luggage, then personally guided us to our room and gave us a short tour of the property. We were truly touched by such a warm and heartfelt welcome. From the moment we arrived, a hostess was assigned to look after us throughout our stay. Dinner was a complete surprise and one of the highlights of the trip. We had pre-ordered our choices before arrival, and our hostess served us an incredible meal on our private patio as the sun set over the Andes. The presentation, the quality of the ingredients, and the flavors were all outstanding. Our “room” was actually a spacious apartment—far larger than we expected. The bar was well stocked, the wine selection excellent, and we were delighted to discover a barbecue and a fully equipped kitchen (a huge bonus if you enjoy preparing some of your own meals). A special thank-you to the manager for his excellent recommendations on nearby trails. The hiking in the area was fantastic, and one of the unique advantages of the lodge is that several beautiful trails are only accessible through the resort’s private property. Springtime in the Andes was magical—so many flowers in bloom against the backdrop of snow-capped peaks. After our hikes we made great use of the resort’s facilities. The infinity pool and cabanas, all with stunning mountain views, were perfect for relaxing. Our hosts even arranged a delicious lunch served at a gorgeous outdoor spot.

We had a truly exceptional stay at El Carmelo Mountain Lodge. What made our experience outstanding was the personalized and attentive care provided exclusively by Ms. Neyla. I was traveling with my cousin, and on our first day she became ill to her stomach. Ms. Neyla kindly prepared a homemade soup for her and assisted us in obtaining the appropriate medication. Thanks to her thoughtful care, my cousin recovered quickly. Later in our stay, when we experienced sunburn, Ms. Neyla immediately provided soothing cream for our faces, once again showing her genuine dedication to guest well-being. Breakfast, which was included with our reservation, was excellent—no complaints at all. Dinner was also prepared with great care and was truly enjoyable. At the end of our visit, Ms. Neyla informed us that the soup she had prepared for my cousin was offered as a courtesy, which we deeply appreciated. We are sincerely grateful for the exceptional service provided by Ms. Neyla. I highly recommend this lodge and look forward to returning in the future.

Our entire experience was amazing the minute we got there until we left. The staff, food, rooms, views and house cats were just what we needed. If you want a different experience this is the place for you!

Un lugar de ensue?o y una atención y cordialidad maravillosas. Las habitaciones son muy confortables, súper espaciosas y la vista a las monta?as es insuperable. El desayuno es muy bueno y las comidas gourmet. Súper recomendable!!! Ojalá podamos volver!!!
