I've got to say that when we first arrived at Villa Maria, I was very disappointed: the realisation that this was less a hotel than a no frills bed and breakfast; a room so plain that it had no decorative touches or a tv; the fact that no one would be on hand to offer advice, guidance or even help with heavy bags up to what felt like attic bedrooms. I began to have mixed feelings the next day. The walk into town was only 20 mins but walking back in the dark and being accosted by a group of Africans asking for money during the unlit section was disconcerting. On the plus side, I had had an exceptionally comfortable night's sleep and though it was clear we were never going to get fresh towels during our 5 night stay, at least there was a functioning heated towel rail. The breakfast buffet featured packet cheese and packet croissants and bread which was either sliced or not particularly fresh. However, on the plus side, there was freshly squeezed orange juice and the offer of eggs (1 of 3 ways) plus bacon. During the course of our stay, the comfort of the bed, the reliable supply of hot water and daily, albeit light, servicing of the room improved my opinion of Villa Maria though concern at not getting one of the 4 dedicated parking slots and the increasingly irritating walk into town (and back) sometimes late at night ensured my enthusiasm never exceeded 3 stars. Overall, Villa Maria is adequate and the wide range of breakfast options goes some way to making up for some of the less distinguished components on offer.

Due notti per poter esplorare la parte nord di Tenerife dopo essere atterrati. Villa molto bella dall esterno, con piscina , bel giardino, internamente struttura spartana, non c è aria condizionata anche se non ne avevamo bisogno, il bagno è grande e ristrutturato, la nostra camera 4 aveva un bel terrazzo. Nessun problema di parcheggio . La struttura è gestita familiarmente, sono molto affabili, la colazione è buona e preparano anche omelette

Très agréable et sympathique, bonne localisation pour visiter les villages du nord Il faudrait préciser la bonne adresse pour le GPS car on a eu du mal à trouver mais à part ?a tout s’est bien passé
