Visited with my husband today and we had a wonderful time. This place is truly within nature. Our lodge/bungalow was lovely; quaint, quirky and secluded with all the amenities we could have needed (even a lovely outdoor shower!). We were greeted and guided by one of the friendly team, our breakfast was then brought over to enjoy at the accommodation. After an hour relaxing and enjoying breakfast, we headed down to the river for a host of relaxing treatments throughout the day. We were truly pampered and felt so relaxed thanks to our brilliant therapists. For lunch we headed up to eat poolside, which was a delight! You will be well looked after here, Christine and her team have created somewhere truly special. The only thing we regret is not staying longer! A very special experience.

I was looking for a peaceful break and Iris Retreat delivered. The most comfortable bed with an a/c above it. The decor and bathroom so stylish. I had an awesome pamper on the river. The kitchen had everything we needed. Privacy, a beautiful hammock to read in and comfy outside furniture. We will be back.

This place is a gem! Unpretentious, back to nature, and completely relaxing. Christine has to be one of the most hospitable people you can meet. Banda takes care of all your needs with such an air of friendliness that you feel totally comfortable. Nothing too much trouble for them. And then a wonderful spa treatment overlooking the river.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful little getaway. We stayed in the Plantation Cottage and was not disappointed. Clean, cosy, charmingly rustic with a touch of an almost spiritual vibration so sleep came so easy. Thankyou Christine everyone at Iris . Will definitely be back.
