Guest：We arrived in Kimberley on a blistering, humid and hot day in the summer. Our roadtrip from Johannesburg to Cape Town had just started and Kimberley would be our first stop. Jungnickel guesthouse is a quaint, comfortable guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived we were hungry and overheating from the drive. It was a blessing that Jungnickel had a pool that we could cool down in. #HotTip if you are going to be staying in Kimberley in the summer, get a place with a working pool and I bet you will thank me later. Our room had very comfortable beds, and the room also had aircon as well as a ceiling fan to keep us cool during the night. Our room had a little outside section for those who smoke or just need to sit outside as the sun is setting and the air becomes easier to breathe. The rooms are quite vintage/antique style, so if youre more minimalist or looking for a place with a more modern aesthetic, this isn't the place for you. Breakfast was nothing special, but it was included, so it kept us filled for the rest of our roadtrip. I would return here if I ever found myself back in Kimberley.: 2024-01-01

Guest：Amazing guesthouse, we were staying in the main (historic) building, hence high ceilings, original details and a lot of light in the room. The bed was good, we slept like babies. Clean and fully stocked bathroom, hairdryer in the room. A lot of complementary things in the room: snacks/cookies/juice. WIFI worked well. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling.
