30 seconds from the cliffs where the spotting is and we even caught a whale breaching from inside our room! Book on the second floor in case of bad weather. Hotel in itself is safe and the rooms are good but it is a "touch and go" regarding some easy maintenance to be done. Blessing, the lady that was an inhouse do-it-all, was really good.
We had 5 nights here, in a spacious double room, with sitting room and balcony just yards from the coast path. We saw whales from the balcony. Bed super comfortable, room spotless. Swimming pool in the gardens . It’s not a guest house as such, more like an Airbnb, so no meals served, but pre ordered breakfast baskets are available .However all the restaurants in Hermanus are a 15 minute walk away. There is a little communal kitchen area for guests to prepare light meals if needed. Blessing, the lovely lady in charge , and her colleagues were all charming. Secure parking available, can be a little tight at times . Would stay again .
