This was our 2nd time staying here. Perfect location, lovely breakfast and friendly hosts! We had a lake view room and the views did not disappoint ??

Another lovely stay at Ouse Bridge House. Very warm and welcoming. Ben and Virginia are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are to die for. We had a lovely en-suite room overlooking the lake, very close to Keswick and beautiful Borrowdale.

This was our 6th time staying at Ouse Bridge House. The family are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are cosy, warm and clean with facilities to make a hot drink, excellent showers and comfy beds. There’s a guest lounge with a fridge containing fresh milk, games, books and an honesty bar. The breakfasts are amazing - so much choice of delicious food which is done by email the night before. We would highly recommend staying here for a short or longer break as it’s ideally situated to visit so many lovely places. If you want to travel by bus there’s a bus stop at the end of the road.

Highly recommend this beautiful B&B! Location is amazing, situated with lake & mountain views to die for and a short drive from Keswick. Breakfasts are amazing plus they know what good coffee is about ?? My room had a huge bay window & I never got sick of waking up to the lake & mountain views. Super comfy bed, very clean & everything you could ask for. Perfect base for any hiker or adventure seeker. Ben & Virginia are wonderful hosts & I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We booked here, never having been before and loved it. The family that run it are lovely. The room was spotless and the extras available very handy . There is a guest lounge with a fridge for fresh milk for the room. There is a bar run on an honesty book. Wet clothes were generously dried. In fact nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay here again. Also enjoyed a wild swim in nearby Bassenthwaite.

We had such a great stay. The host family are so friendly and helpful (we got a brilliant tip for a little café and walk we loved that we would never have found on our own). Even the pictures on the wall serve as great inspiration if you're not sure what you want to do with your day. Such a great location for exploring from and you get a fantastic breakfast with so many options that really sets you up for the day (my personal recommendation is the homemade granola). In my experience they accommodate allergies and intolerances well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and ours had a great view. Would definitely stay there again!

Ben and Virginia never fail to impress with their hospitality. This golf trip (7 of us) was trip no different. As always the star of the show was the fabulous breakfast. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent hospitality; great location; scrumptious grub! The generous car park helped avoid parking headaches. Nice selection of books to choose from in the lounge.
