Myself and my family stayed recently and had a lovely stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room, very spacious. Breakfast was well stocked and freshly topped up when needed. All round a wonderful stay.
What a lovely friendly travel lodge this is, the food was even amazing we had breakfast it was all amazing, can’t say anything bad about best experience I’ve had in any hotel
Stayed here over the Christmas period, reception were pleasant and helpful, rooms were very warm and clean. The car park was secure and much cheaper to park rather than anywhere else in town! Will be back!
Great location, ten minutes walk from Kendal town centre. Nice and calm atmosphere too. The rooms are spotless, nice and spacious and a great value for money. Excellent customer service from the hotel manager and her staff. Absolutely lovely people, couldn't do enough for us!! Made up feel so, so welcome. The rooms have the usual amenities, tea, coffee, shower gel/shampoo in a dispenser. We'll definitely be back!! See you all again!!
Great location and very clean. Absolutely a bargain price. Five minute walk to the high street. Plenty of parking spaces in the underground car park for a fee of £4.30 for 24H. Highly recommended for your stay in Kendal. Another bonus is if you are travelling from the south you avoid the one way system and it's very easy to find.
We had a weekend stay at the Kendal Town Centre Travelodge in mid December. The hotel has parking directly beneath it, which was useful as it rained a lot and it meant that we did not get wet going between the car and the hotel. This incurred a charge of around £4 for 24 hours. The room was vast in size; we had two single beds and a double bed, along with the desk area and some hanging space. There were enough cups and teaspoons left for the number of beds provided. The view from the window was of an internal courtyard; we kept the curtains shut as it felt a little overlooked. There was some noise at night from people being loud on the corridor but this died down by midnight. We did notice some cleanliness issues, especially in the bathroom, as we found lots of hair around the bottoms of the walls and in the shower area. The hotel is located a little out of the town centre; given the weather, we did not go into the made town centre at night and instead opted for a takeaway from No. 1 Chinese opposite (which was delicious). We did not have breakfast but this was offered at check in. All in all, it was an adequate stay and we would consider staying here again in the future.
Excellent stay in the hotel staff were very friendly including Jess and Claire on reception. And in the evening staff were very friendly aswell including Angela. Overall very good stay
