  • Guest：Have stayed here a couple of times and I would happily stay here again. The staff are friendly and polite. The Room was clean and tidy, basic but that is not an issue as it was comfortable. There is ample parking too. I would happily stay here again
  • Guest：Yha chester is quite unique. Chalet style rooms surrounded by lush green gardens and a central main building with grand ceelings, massive communal areas and elegant lounges to relax in. A self catering kitchen you can access too. You also get great staff-Fabio was helpful, polite and welcoming. Helen at breakfast was also amazing. Every member of staff was really good. Breakfast was great, as always with yha its worth the money as you can really get a good breakfast that fills you up for the day. Its a short drive out of chester but well located to catch park and ride into the city or if your heading further its still fairly convenient if your making a day trip across to north wales. In summary it was great, its unique, different but has a lot of charm, great staff a great product and normally great prices too.
  • Guest：Lovely and quite so my sleep was wonderful. No banging fire doors or drunk people unlike a hotel. Plenty of places to hang your clothes to dry. Nice hot shower. Plenty of radiators if needed. Pretty countryside including a lovely wooded area around the hostel so I enjoyed the suggested 6.9 mile walk. I am looking forward to staying there again. I managed to use the bus service due to no car. Don't use the bus shelter further down the road as the driver often doesn't see people early enough to stop. The food was the usual YHA standards so bring your own vegetables to cook in the microwave as the YHA does not provide enough vegetables for dinner in the evening. Breakfast was fine due to wholemeal bread, grilled tomatoes and an orange, and of course loads of protein.
