Guest：We were a family of 5 with a baby who stayed in the Elea Villa, across the road from the main property but extremely close. The Villa is traditional style and older than the apartments but very spacious with three good sized double bedrooms, all with air conditioning. The air conditioning does not cool the living area so that stayed quite warm. There is a nice veranda to sit out and food can be ordered to the Villa. The travel cot we had was a bit broken with not a very flat base so we co-slept with our baby which was not a problem for us. The breakfast on site was excellent and all cooked to order. The brunch and lunch menu had several traditional dishes and all were delicious. Food could take 30min or so to arrived as it is all freshly prepared. The pool is lovely with nice shaded loungers though it is competitive to get the sun umbrellas! Overall we had a really great stay.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable with everything you need to cater for yourself if you wish. Alternatively Mary and Yiannos provide wonderful breakfast and lunch with fresh produce grown in their grounds by Antonis. Guest：I have travelled to many lovely places in my lifetime and stayed in a variety of different types of accommodation but none have impressed me as much as Elea suites. Yannis, his parents Maria & Adonis and his aunt Nina welcome everyone as if they were family coming home. They create an atmosphere of friendliness and relaxation and have genuine concern to provide the best holiday experience for all their guests. The apartments are situated in small blocks surrounding the beautifully maintained pool. The depths are marked on the edge and there is a separated area for small children. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds and shades are available throughout the day without ever needing to reserve. The pool was never overcrowded or noisy. The apartments themselves are very comfortable and have everything needed for those who want to do self catering. We had a one bedroom apartment with a sofa in the sitting area which can accommodate a third person if needed. The bed and pillows are very good quality and we slept well throughout our stay. We were not disturbed by any road or aircraft noise. The air-conditioning was excellent and easily adjusted. The apartments were cleaned daily, sheets & towels changed regularly. Breakfast /Brunch were available on the shaded terrace overlooking the pool. The quality and value of the food is amazing. Everything is cooked freshly in the kitchen with fresh eggs provided by the free range chickens and fresh fruits and vegetables from the family garden. Guests can choose a book to read from a large selection in the building, on a bring one take one basis and there are also some boardgames to borrow. WiFi is available for those who want but personally I enjoy not being too attached to social media when on holiday. There are several excellent restaurants in the area, some including Iraki's and Mylos are within walking distance. There is a lovely sandy beach also about 15 minutes walk where we swam in the beautiful warm azure water and enjoyed several evening strolls along the seashore listening to the waves. We went on day trips to Spinalonga and the market in Heraklion and an evening excursion to a Greek village in the mountains for a uniquely greek experience. In conclusion Elea is an exceptionally special place to stay and a wonderful base for a holiday. I rarely return to any holiday destination but I will certainly return to elea and to the people I now consider are like family.
Guest：Very lovely place! Very easy communication via whatsapp as we arrived late at night. Key was ready at the door. Room is nice, kitchen tiny but absolutely perfect for such a stay. Loved the pool area very much! Love plane spotting and was not dissappointed.
