To stay here on the most peaceful white sand beach, sleeping to the sound of the Indian Ocean is magical. The shacks are clean and comfortable with shower and toilet and set in a beautiful garden. There are only 7 shacks so the restaurant and bar is relaxed, on a terrace overlooking the beach. The food is excellent and the family who run the place are very friendly and helpful.

Great place right on the beach. Small establishment with a warm and friendly service. Real family affair. The views are stunning and the bar restaurant terrace has both residents and customers use it. The food is good too. Accommodation is a set of huts all with their own bathrooms to the back of the restaurant bar terrace. Great for both long and short stays

very nice experience good hospitality relaxation in sun bed and has good view of sunset they have bar and restaurant recommended for each and everyone very pleasant stay in this shack quiet and non smoking rooms

We visited Happy Shack and stayed in a double room. Food was fabulous and the staff were very helpful. Awesome to be right on the beach. Around a 30 min taxi ride from the airport or Madgao train station. Ask for Sernabatim beach road. Very good value rooms and a well stocked bar!
