Despite an unprepossessing exterior, the unit was wood panelled inside, and was cosy. The living area was large and it was quiet, being located away from the main road. The stairs to the bedrooms were a bit narrow and creaky, but we had a comfortable sleep. Enjoyed our stay.
This is an amazing accommodation. From the tidy and well maintained bedrooms, living room and restroom. To the clean and newly furnished kitchenette, aircondition and coaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Great clean little cottage, everything you might need for cooking is provided. 6 sleeping places are upstairs in the loft. Grocery store is a short drive away, national park is 10-15 min away. TV didn’t have a signal, but we didn’t care about it.
I came to ohakune for my 30th birthday family ski trip. We had a 1 bedroom and 5 bedroom and it was perfect. The 5 bedroom was great for our family and the 1 bedroom was great for all the older cousins to have a bit of a sleepover. Communication was great leading up to our stay. We had multiple requests upon arrival and they were all catered to. Great friendly owners. Thank you so much for hosting our family we loved this place so much! So perfect and fairly priced! All the best!
Sadly, I didn’t meet John, whom I always spoke with on the phone, but it was great meeting the beautiful lady Susie.
Love the place so cosy, quiet and peaceful but I don’t recommend it for a couple who have young children or toilet-trained children.
My partner and I have to wake up four times in the morning to take turns taking our kids to the restroom.
But I still love the place
We were upgraded from a 2 bedroom to a 5 bedroom (we still only used 2 bedrooms) but had a nice large house with a fireplace. Loved coming in from the snow to a cosy house.
