  • Guest：Rustic, ＞100 years old but fully furnished and very clean. Teddy Roosevelt stayed there en route on horseback to Yosemite. The proprietor Mary was so very accommodating and a historical expert on the hotel and the town. Furnished w/ well-kept antiques and a panorama of vintage pics of a by-gone era arrayed on the walls. Totally unique and so much better than a "modern" clone motel you can visit anywhere.
  • Guest：The pictures don't do justice to the rooms! Absolutely beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. The innkeeper knows the area well so follow her recommendations. The only time we drove was to attend an event at the fairgrounds, everything else was easily walkable for this arthritic person.
