Fantastic welcome and very friendly couple. Room was immaculate and well equipped, including everything you would expect from more expensive hotels. Excellent value for money including a cracking Wiltshire breakfast which was superb!

We have stayed here many times over the years, always clean and tidy. very peaceful setting in the countryside. I can not fault The Well Guesthouse.

We (two couples) stayed a night whilst walking The Ridgeway. We received a friendly welcome. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped. Despite fairly close proximity to a major road, the way the accomodation is laid out meant there is no road noise to speak of. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was also very good. Clearly Mike and Megan are working very hard to make the Guesthouse venture work, and they deserve to succeed.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Well Guest House. Warm welcome received from Megan and very impressed with the breakfast menu. Shown to our accommodation which is completely separate from the main building with its own entrance - great when you have your pampered pooches with you! Beautifully appointed room and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed every element of our stay. Looking forward to returning soon.

I needed a one night stay close to an event that I was volunteering at and the Well Guesthouse was perfect for that. I knew the accommodation from when it was a pub. My room was comfortable and clean and although I left too early for breakfast the hosts made me a bacon sandwich to take with me. I would stay here again.

A clean and well presented but small room and ensuite with complimentary scone Unfortunately my room only had one dorma window with no view and loud road traffic, however didn't stop me sleeping well. Evening meal was at 7pm and was good and breakfast was fine.

Spacious room with a beautiful view. We were grateful that the guesthouse served dinner as we arrived on foot during our Ridgeway walk. The best thing about our stay were nice touches such as homemade cake and biscuits for guests and lovingingly prepared packed lunches.

Had a very enjoyable one night stay at The Well. Mike and Meg were very welcoming and there were lots of thoughtful touches - home made cakes on arrival, a boot tray, newspaper for wet boots. Food was great and the room was spotless and well organised. A lovely outdoor seating area meant you could sit out in the sun after dinner.

Friendly, welcoming and well organised team. Looked after three tired cyclists having ridden 130 kilometres from Winchester along the King Alfred’s Way.
