It was good value for money, considering that the stay included breakfast, which was quite good. Reception was commendable, and the premise had good baths.
While there was no cleaning fee charged, it also meant no daily clearing of trash, which was quite shocking to me, considering a 4-nights stay as a family. I had to leave bags (bags not provided) of trash by the door so that it wouldn't accumulate in the room. Spare towels are provided upfront in the room.
Hot water was unstable, leading to bouts of freezing water in the mid of shower. So.. imagine the screams...
There's no lift in premises, which is to be expected, as it is a traditional hotel. No problem for us.
Luggage forwarding was well managed, already in the room waiting for us.
While location is at moderate location from the train station, the walk to-fro was enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend to push luggage though.

房间很大，有榻榻米，感觉可以住4人，一楼有室内温泉，楼顶有室外温泉，服务态度很好。总之，很好的体验。

没有电梯，住宿安排在四楼，要独自抬行李上楼。
厕所超小，随便都会撞到，热水很慢，莲蓬头出水量也很小??

没有标示最晚check in时间，当天晚上23:20到达饭店，柜台已经锁门去睡觉了。
饭店偏老旧，没有电梯，我们要自己拖着23公斤的行李箱爬4楼，房间空间算大，但是浴室超级小，随便转身就会撞到，而且莲蓬头出水量很小，热水很慢又要等很久才有，整体感受没有太好，这样的价位很没价值??

离箱根汤本站稍微有点远，环境不错，酒店有大浴场和露天温泉。酒店稍微有点老，不过总体能接受，性价比不错。

I don't know much about the hotel but they refused to cancel our order when we couldnt reach them in time. Our flight was cancelled and it didn't matter to them... I guess this says something about the proprty
