Check-in is through the app. The place is centrally located, walking distance to Flinders Street. Lots of cafes/restaurants nearby. I paid extra for a bottom bunk bed but got assigned to a top one though. Overall, good service and cleanliness was maintained.
The place and staff are lovely and very clean. Localisation in Melbourne is ideal.
Unfortunately I got roommates whom were not respectful but the place is ideal for low budget traveler
The location ist amazing. The kitchen is nice and big with several airfryers as well. Unfortunately there was not enough cutlery and other tools you might need for cooking. I was in a 10 bed dorm. The room was nice and spacious and the beds have thick curtains. The downside was the bathroom. I stayed for 7 nights and the bathroom was maybe cleaned twice. So it wasn't a really good experience to use it. There were also no additional bathrooms on any upper level. One bathroom is simply not enough for ten people.
To summarize I expected better bathroom cleanliness and more bathrooms also on the upper levels. And also the early kitchen closure at 10pm was pretty annoying.
This hotel was great, better than I expected! The staff was helpful as they allowed me to check out one day early without charging me (I have requested this a month before tho).
