Guest：A very warm, generous welcome with complimentary drinks. Spacious, well laid out room and enormous bed. Pleasant meal, exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. Obviously a well run pub and hotel with excellent manager who the staff respect.
Guest：A group of 5 of us stayed at the Kings head while on a cycling tour, the rooms were absolutely spotless and really nicely set out with plenty of room and good quality furnishings. Aside from the hotel itself, all of the staff there were incredibly friendly and helpful, they bent over backwards to ensure we had a good stay, one of the best groups of staff I’ve come across in a hotel. All of our group who stayed are talking about returning with their families in the future because we were so impressed!
Guest：Stoped off for dinner. They have a nice restaurant attached and the service was good. The food was Ok to good for British pub grub with a good selection that would suit vegetarians and vegans. We did not go into the pub area but it looked good and seemed to be busy, while the restaurant was quiet in mid-week on the off-season.
Guest：Riding the #Rebellion Way and Kings Head is on the route. Beautiful room (only 3) in old pub. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Excellent resatuarant doing wholesome food for hungry cyclists. Secure location for bikes overnight. All the staff were very engaging and Tom the manager could not do enough for us. Complimentary breakfast at Byfords the following morning, which is worthy of a review itself. Had a great stay and set up well for the days' cycling ahead. Thoroughly recommend.
